Barton should be suspended

Will Barton got away with punching Seth Curry in the face as Seth was helping Zach up after the clumsy Jokic charging foul. The refs chickened out by awarding double technical fouls to Seth and Zach offset by Will and Craig which is not appropriate. Punching another player in the face should mandate a suspension!

The NBA needs to review video on this and assess a suspension for at least Round 2 Game 7!

 

...shockingly, I couldn't agree more! Barton should be suspended for Game 7 because of the "eye poke"!!

c'mon....guys just getting heated. If it was a deliberate eye poke...ok, but I didn't see that in any replays

 

...not sure how it could be seen as anything else, Barton literally pointed his finger in Seth's face and pushed his finger into his eye.



...and then continues to instigate and taunt Curry, clear suspension IMO.

I hope they won't. He had a +/- of -25 in 26 minutes tonight.

 

He also had made HUGE clutch buckets in 3 games for the Nuggets... he is basically their Aminu mixed with Turner. Sometimes he shows up and hits all the shots needed, sometimes he can’t find his ass from his elbow.

 

He deserved two techs tonight. Not sure it warrants a suspension after the fact. I'm okay with them making it a big fine.

That's what one could call poked in the eye. Look for the 2nd poke by Will, not the first nutty push of Seth when Zach was down. This was a move by Will that needs NBA discipline.

Collins earned his T though. No clue what they got Craig for though. ET probably has a case to dispute, but there are angles where he was reaching for Collins could be read as engaging with Barton

 

Lmfao that is the most accurate thing ever said about the Nuggets, they are totally sassy frontrunners! Remember their bench in game 5??

 

A poke in the eye is one kind of punch to the face, and looking at how Will pugnaciously initiated both the first and second push of Seth, a reason for a fighting type of penalty.
