Yes, ahead of David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez...Before that he was all over the place, and I'm guessing he doesn't have a set spot (Can an actual Red Sox fan confirm that?) I think its too early to have this discussion, but as of right now he's a possible ROY candidate...</div>He was mostly the 9 hitter for the beginning of the season. Then he picked up his batting average to .331 and ended up moving up to the #2 spot with Drew moving up to the #1 and it really has made a big impact. Lugo was moved down to 9 and Crisp to 8.I'm really satisfied with Dustin's performance. He was the biggest question mark in the lineup coming into the season and he's undoing that and turning into a big exclamation mark. He has been a big part of our success. When the other guys weren't playing their best guys like Dustin and Youkilis picked it up.
