Rays literally threw Yankees off their game. Yankees lost their cool and from that point on (HBP) for all intents
& purposes yesterday’s game fell into the L column. So, where was their manager’s ‘cool’ to calm his players
and give them direction to win the game or to motivate them? Never happened. Also, when Boner brought
in Cortes to pitch the 8th, concession was on. Thus, the game went south.

Yankees have tough assignment. His name is Snell. Let’s hope the team is more focused than yesterday.

Can’t wait to see today’s lineup. DPs killed potential Yankee rallies yesterday. Hope players avoid that
    pitfall.

Rays top the major leagues in team ERA. They have a 2.85. So, who thinks pitching is not key to a winning record?
Yankees are ranked 11th with a 3.90 ERA.

Tanaka needs to find his sinker to induce Rays’ batters to hit ground balls & to pitch more than five
innings. We are into May and he’s still searching for that pitch. If he only uses his remaining two pitches, he will
not fare well against the Rays. My question is......” What is taking you so long?”

Are we forgetting that that yanks ace and at worst their 3rd best pitcher are on the sidelines?

Amazing how much criticism this team gets for any loss...how many other pitching staffs would be 8th when sending out a number 6,7,8 and having relief pitchers 6 and 7.
Facing snell today meant yesterday their 3 top relief pitchers wasnt going to he used 3 days in a row so that they could be available for todays game.

    Happy mothers day.

Thought about that one myself. Had Boner sent Biggie back out there he would have drilled someone giving up an out with a 2/2 tie. So Boner sent Holder out who promptly shit the bed. Cortes finished the job and the Yankees lost the gam. Franklin D. Roosevelt once said "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself". He has not see the 2019 Yankees. Time was one could watch a game knowing the Yankees would probably win. Todays game features Tanaka, dude gives up bombs so if men get on base you start to wonder about multi run bombs. From the time the starter is gone the game gets Bonerized" with a suspect pen thrown in there. Not so bad if the offense were working but it has stalled to the point of a potential crash. Never a dull moment with this team.

Glad to see Romine in there today. Sanchez has a theory that passed and throwing error balls are better than none at all. Offense has got to wake up today and start producing, Tanaka needs an ace game.

Avisail Garcia, remember him, he hit the Yankees hard in the '12 ALCS. Last night he hit a bomb off of Biggie, then got that hit against Holder coming around to score after the Sanchez fuck up. They nee to give this guy a little chin music to keep him honest.

7 of the first 9 batters have struck out to the Snell offerings. Yankees look overmatched by Snell.
He is one reason why Rays are in first place.
