Re: Isiah Thomas: "No Allan Houston in this Draft." Knicks to pass on Almond Morris Almond of Rice has been been compared by some to former Tennessee star Allan Houston, who went on to have a successful career with Detroit and the New York Knicks. The Knicks, who have the 23rd pick, are in desperate need of an outside shooter. But don't be surprised if they pass on Almond, who could be available. ''There's no Allan Houston in this draft,'' Knicks coach and president of basketball operations Isiah Thomas said. Morris Almond is my favorite player in the draft, hearing him say this, and in my opinion thinking Allan Houston was a completely overrated and one dimentional kind of turns me the wrong way on Isiah Thomas and all the stupid comments he's been making in the draft process.
Re: Isiah Thomas: "No Allan Houston in this Draft." Isaih Thomas is really only making his observation of the player Morris Almond is, and if he doesn't like it, Almond just needs to improve. Say what you want about the trades that Isaih Thomas has made, but he is an outstanding GM when it comes to drafting talent, and him and his coaching staff knows how to evaluate talent so I trust what he says.
Re: Isiah Thomas: "No Allan Houston in this Draft." Isiah Thomas makes mistakes like any other GM does, I don't really take what he says and put it down in my book because he's made a couple good picks the last few years. Has New York even worked Almond out? I'm not sure.

Re: Isiah Thomas: "No Allan Houston in this Draft." I've seen a lot of Mocks that have New York taking Daequan Cook with the 23rd pick. And if they're going to pass on Almond, he'd be a realistic choice.
Re: Isiah Thomas: "No Allan Houston in this Draft." I think the Knicks need to go with Rudy Fernandez. He's a really good shooting guard who plays with a lot of passion, and the Knicks could use that passion, and the shooting.

Re: Isiah Thomas: "No Allan Houston in this Draft." Allan Houston was very one deminsional to whoever said that was right...anyway I dont even give a F*ck who the knicks pick even as a knicks fan...does it even matter? what matters is trying to move some big contracts and lets win some basketball games.

This is a deep draft, and if Isiah plays his cards right, he can find someone who can come in and contribute, helping the Knicks win some more games possibly.

I just assumed Isiah was really racist.
Re: Isiah Thomas: "No Allan Houston in this Draft." Is David Lee the only white guy? I think he may be.
