Yeah you guy might think this is so fake.. but on Realgm its been said KG has had good talk with suns...And all the mods from the suns and wolves fourm talked to see if the topic should be locked but they leaven it open cause its a legit source
If Amare is included I would put Kerr right near the top of my hit list next to Stern and Robert Horry. If he somehow gets a deal done and we keep Nash and Amare I will love him like a brother. Amare and KG together would be very scary for opposing teams. Marion, our 2 picks, next years Atlanta pick, Barbosa for KG and a scrub? :dribble: I don't know, we'll see if this rumor has any truth to it soon.

That they're in "serious" talks with the Suns.:-/<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (jordanisoverrated @ Jun 17 2007, 05:03 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>The Suns should try to package a deal where they send D'Antoni to another team.</div>Only if he still refuses to use his bench this year. Otherwise I don't have a problem with him atm.

Besides, I highly doubt the Wolves would trade him to another team in the Western Conference, in the first place. whoa! SHOCKING!Seriously BCB has been saying this for a while but enough of the KG rumors. When talks start to get serious then maybe we can talk but this is all just petty talk. There has been no rumored deals or real serious discussions. Obviously every team in the league is interested in KG and obviously KG is interested in a contending team.

But Marion would most likely be in the deal, since all the talk this summer is about him leaving. I def. doubt a trade gets done anyway.

It's whoever can give them the best package for KG. It seems to be between the Bulls and Suns. The Bulls could give them more, but I don't know if they want to mess with their team. They got a lot of good young players who will be improving and they'll be able to get out of the East without making any changes. Why give up two of your best like Gordon and Deng? Amare has more value being so young than KG right now. I would be pissed if they trade him and if they do they'd also have to give up more with him to balance out salaries(Raja, Barbosa?) and that would just be way too much for KG.Edit: Also, the Bulls would have a lot of trouble matching KG's humongo salary. Don't all their young players get fairly small contracts?
Marion right now is a better play then Amare is, last year he proved he could score like amare, rebound better then amare, and also play better defensive and more awareness for the game. Amare is one year off major injury and I assume he will be better then marion maybe as soon as next season but Marion is a very complete player and could mold well on the twolves with foye and other young players. It would be a good deal for both teams and the suns may just win that championship they sought after when they brought barkley in.

Amare scored better all season, and with Nash out he scored 30PPG, proving he can creat ehis own shot and still be extremely affective. Marion can't create his shot or carry a team like Amare, therefor he will always be more valuable

He's the best role player in the league, but not better than Amare. He's not a better rebounder either and his defense is a bit overrated. On scoring he's not even close because Amare is much, much better at creating for himself. Marion scores more off of assists. I explained some of this in the thread in the Suns forum if you want to check it out.

He does all the little things and he's very important though, but he seems more of a great role player to me than anything.I'm just annoyed with the guy sometimes so I may be going overboard with that comment. He just pisses me off though...

If anything Marion showed he could be just as good last season when he took over the suns scoring. In the playoffs Amare may have outshined marion but overall marion is a more complete player. Amare may be better at attacking the lane and his post manuevers but Marion has more versatility to his offense so id say they are near equals even offensively. Like I said right now id take Marion, but comparing them is like comparing Shaq to Hakeem. its an endless debate.

Amare needs no one to make him a great scorer as he can create for himself as well as feed off others. Marion can only feed off great PG's and has no moves to create for himself. He cannot shoot off the dribble unless it's a one dribble and pop, he is not a great slasher, and the only time he becomes hard to guard is on the fastbreak. But the SA series showed perfectly that when Marion doesn't have the fastbreak to his advantage, he is stopped dead in his tracks.Because of that simple thing, Marion will never be much more than a glorified AK-47...all star caliber role player, but never more than just a role player.

Marion has proven night in night out you have to respect his offense or he can burn you with a jumper,a three, or a dunk. I dont believe his game is solely based off Nash although Nash opens up the offense for everyone. That year you are talking about the Suns also missed the playoffs so like I said Amare hasnt led the suns to anything yet(although he has all the potential in the world) the only reason I would pick Marion as of today is that Amare just came off an injury. If we are asking who is better next season then id probably agree Amare is better. Marion is more then just a good roleplayer though, he is a star player is his own ways and as far as whatever defense the suns have it is run through him.
