<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Sk8errPuNk92 @ Jul 1 2007, 07:06 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I also forgot to mention that kobe would be the player that the bulls were kind of missing besides a low post scorer....a consistent go to scorer. Don't get me wrong I like hinrich, gordon, and deng but I just think that gordon is too inconsistent sometimes aka he scores 40 one night and like 14 the next. Kobe would fill that hole in the team and he would only make the players around him better because he would draw lots of double teams and if we have deng and hinrich on the team still those guys can still shoot. I see no reason why we shouldnt trade for kobe because we could end up being the east's top team for many years with that team!</div>Did you watch the playoffs? The Bulls have plenty of go-to scorers. But all their go-to scorers are perimeter players. Not taking Spencer Hawes will bite Paxson in the butt.

I actually think Spencer Hawes could develop into a bust, while drafting Joakim Noah gives us a strong defender even when Ben wallace(who is getting older) is on the bench and when he retires. Joakim Noah was a nice pick but we still need a lowpost guy, but im pretty sure we've established that many times.

<span style="font-family:Arial">The Chicago Bulls need a go-to scorer on their team, much like Kobe Bryant. They have an entire roster filled with good offensive players, but they need that one great player to be able to take over games on both ends. Ben Gordon is great, but he's not a superstar. With that being said, I still think they are in desperate need of a low post scorer. If they can get a dominant big man, then trading for Kobe is unnecessary.Assuming they traded Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, and Tyrus Thomas. Their line-up would look like this:PG: Kirk HinrichSG: Kobe BryantSF: Andres NocioniPF: P.J. Brown/Joakim NoahC: Ben WallaceObviously it would reduce the depth on the team, but it's a good deal.</span>

I think Ben Gordon and Loul Deng(Deng isnt there yet, but I think he will eventually) are take over type of players. Ben Gordon has shown flashes of that type of dominance as far as being unstoppable scoring wise, its just his shot can become inconsistant at times..which with age he will get better at consistancy. I think it would be very stupid for the Bulls to trade for Kobe, not saying Kobe isnt good(hes the best in the world), but they would have to give up way too much. I think they got to stick with their team as it is and hope that a KG or O'Neal can be stolen. IMO, the Bulls put themselves in a tough situation by not taking Aldridge in the '06 draft and not taking Hawes in this years draft. Aldridge has shown he can score in the post and Hawes might become a low-post scorer. Personaly, I think the Bulls will end up trading Gordon for whatever big they can get. Thabo is going to be a very good player and even as soon as this upcoming season, I think he will be able to step in and play the 2 guard for the Bulls very well and let Deng be the offensive vocal point on the perimeter.

This team is not ready to trade gordon yet unless it were for a guy like Kobe. We run our offense through Gordon and without him I feel we would deeply kill the chemistry we have in place. We are not getting Kobe but even without him we are a very good team.Hell, Even with our roster as is we have a very good chance to win the east.
