<div align="center">Final date for nominations are by the end of the month.</div>I saw this on TV and thought it would be a great idea. What do you guys think is the greatest highlight of all time? As agreed upon, I wanted to create a contest where we would vote on the greatest basketball highlight of all time. This is the format:- Ill organize it (Ive been active with many things lately, and am done school)- We nominate 16 highlights- We vote each of them off bracket format (First one to get 5 votes moves on)- We post each here, and we can use youtube videos.- if you cant find the youtube video, ill post it for you.- Please be active with this guys!- Anyone can nominate as much as needed, but remember this is all eras. Here Ill nominate one:<div align="center"> 1. Dr. J's Impossible Layup: (Raptorfan#1)It was the layup that amazed me the first 100 times I saw it and still amazes people to today. Known as the impossible layup, its as if Julius Erving defied gravity with this one.Invalid Video Link2. Vince's Poster: (Nitro1118)It seriously reminded me of the times Vince was back in Toronto when I saw this. Alonzo Mourning had absolutely no chance to stop Vince, he would go on to remember that one for a while.Invalid Video Link3. Derek's Hail Mary (noballer07)It was a beauty, the series was on the line. The Lakers were on the ropes with 0.4 seconds left. Then Derek Fisher, who is now known for this play, hit the shot. A real buzzer beater for the ages.Invalid Video Link4. TMac's 13 in 33. (Strike3)Maybe One of the greatest of all time, TMac shown his dominance and scored a dazzling 13 points in the last 33 seconds of a game against the Spurs. A play for the ages. Denham Browns face just says it all....Invalid Video Link5. Isiah's Out of Bounds (CB4AllStar)Its not like he was trying to get it in, but he did. Who saves the ball from out of bounds near the 3pt line and gets it in? Isiah did, one of the most astonishing in NBA history.Invalid Video Link 6. "The Play" (CelticFan) Known, as "the play" Larry Bird did the near impossible. It was the conference Finals, game on the line. Larry Bird makes the impossible steal from Isiah Thomas and the incredible pass to Dennis Johnson right under the bucket with about 1 second left. The Celtics took a one point lead that game.Invalid Video Link7. Shawn Embarassing Alton Lister (BALLAHOLIC)It as if the dunk wasnt enough, but Shawn Kemp would let a dunk like this go, he just had to show up Lister, a dunk considered one of the best all time, Shawn Kemp wouldnt forget.Invalid Video Link8. "The Dunk" (tHe_pEsTiLeNcE)Another classic, known as "the dunk" Vince Carter decided to go hangtime OVER Fredric Weis of the French national team of a stolen play. Most people would go around, but as you see Vince decided to go 'up'.Invalid Video Link9. The 720 (Raptorfan#1)The 720 is one of the most common tricks in skate boarding and snow boarding. Most boarders master it in their career, but how many have heard of a 720 in basketball? Though disputed, Taurian Fontennette a.k.a "Air Up There" achieved the near impossible, very worthwhile to watch.Invalid Video Link10. MJ Goes Baseline (Raptorfan#1)So Jordan goes baseline, then back out, then decideds to fake out both Starks and Oakley, and blow past Oakley on the baseline again, and dunk it over monster 7 footer Patrick Ewing. Invalid Video Link11. Dr. J's "Rock the Craddle" (noballer07)Ok, you can always try defending on a fastbreak, but when Dr.J is coming at you full blast, with his arms outstretched, somethings wrong. Dr.J blew his defender with this one, by literally "rocking the craddle" with the basketball.Invalid Video Link12. Mr. Clutch (noballer07)Robert has hit his share of clutch shots in his lifetime, but probably none like this. It was the WCF, about 8-9 seconds left, Kobe takes the layup, misses, Shaq, ditto, Robert Horry for the game winning three pointer, good!Invalid Video Link13. Amare's 360 (STAT)Doing a full 360 in the air and scoring a layup can be hard, but Amare makes it look easy. Take a look at how Amare passes by defenders with these amazing moves. "Amare" is officially back.Invalid Video Link14. Jordan's Game Winning Layup (STAT)One of Jordan's many, he stole the ball and layed it in to win the game for the Hornets. Its not much of a surprise to basketball fans, Jordan's a natural.Invalid Video Link15. Tayshaun being himself. (Stonesalltheway)Most players in the NBA dont get rewarded for hustling, but Tayshaun did, and did it with flare. A hustle play, basically saved the game for the Pistons, and so did Prince. Reggie himself was in awe.Invalid Video Link16. The Dream Shake (noballer07)Known as the "Dream Shake" performed by Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon, who literally shook up David Robinson after this play. Showcasing Hakeems true talent.Invalid Video Link17. Reggie Over Jordan (Raptorfan#1)Reggie Miller was also known for his clutchness, as he showed Jordan a thing or two here.Invalid Video Link</div>

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Sorry guys, new rule, you may only nominate 1 play. If we dont have enough, Ill let in the rest. Ill choose one for those who posted so many. Please dont choose too many new ones. I want to see some old school ones.</div><span style="font-family:Arial">I disagree. It shouldn't matter who posts them, as long as they are posted. Some great videos may be overlooked because people are only willing to submit one. I also think that we should nominate 16 videos out of all the videos submitted. That's just my opinion, though.</span>

The funniest moment in nba history was Nate robinson blocking yao ming. Nate Robinson became one of my favorite players ever when I saw that.
Anybody mind if I put another one in?Hakeem Olajuwon Confuses David Robinson in the PostAnother reason why this guy is so great. I have watched this thousands of times and still can't get it in my post game.
