Last nights game was one of the anxieties one fears watching Yankee Starters Tanka, Happ, and Biggie. They all have the knack of giving up that bomb. Tanaka could not keep the bases clear and paid the price. Sanchez failure twice with mane on did not help his team. Yeah he hit one out , baseball is like music when the timing is off end result is failure. I was following on game cast but it did appear from hits described that Sanchez was a bit late on the defense side as well, Boners send s up Urshele who comes through, my question would be why wasn't he in the game? Tough SD pitcher should put an "A" game team out there. Checking the Tampa Rays game I got to thinking about my old buddy Amsinger. Smug, sneakey sport journalist who never played the game talking shit about Vlad Jr. Amsinger was pimping his (Vlad jr.) HOF pedigree, damn, give Toronto the division. Checked Vlad jrs stats and was not impressed . The Jays are going to need a lot more bop than what Vlad jr is dishing now. Heard Vasgergitation another puke in my view try to sharpshoot Giriardi over the '98 series. Old Vas told Joe G that if that strike out to Tino was upheld the Padres would have taken that series. He (Vasgeritation) stated that the Pads had beaten an Astro Team that had a better record and therefore should have beat the Yankees . Note to Vasgeritation, the '01 Yankees beat a Seattle Team that won 116 game but still lost the series. Shit Happens, The only two Sports Repoting journalist on MLB network that I respect are Fran Charles and Heidi Watney. The rest of them to use a David Price term were former waterboys not players. Go Yankees.

Good to see Paxton looking sharp in his return from the IL. Great four innings of work.

Voit turned out to be a surprise, ditto Urshela both have done well. LeMahieu was one guy known whom Yankee Fans wanted. Yeah I'd say Cashman was good with those picks myself. But he has not done well with the pitching, Yankees will have some huge surpluses by trade deadline. Lets see if Cashman can deal for additional Quality Pitching.

We would've been up the creek without them with all these injuries. The Astros now getting hit hard with Springer, Altuve, Diaz and now Correa out.

Per Joe Giraradi on MLB last night the Red Sox will not run down the Yankees in '19.
