ok here is what I have been thinking please dont rip me for it I just wanna here some opinions I think it makes sense I just want other ppls opinions Kobe to MIA for Pono (S&T) Jwill (Expiring contract) Doleac (expiring contrac) wayne simien #20 in this years draft and a future unprotected 1st round pick why for the lakers- well kobe wants out this may not be the best talented package avalible for him but I dont think chi imploads there team to get kobe this trade would give them around $12million in expriing deals to come off the books after this season (along with mckie and kwame which I belive is another 12million or so) which would give them some cap space for next offseason making them players in next years free agent class (which could include KG and Gilbert Arenas dont 4get gilbert is from cali this might appeal to him) they also get 2 young players that they could possiby build around (along with bynum) in pono and simien pono is a great shooter and as really shown his ability to create his own shot simien once bulks back up after is little bug could b a great PF to play alongside of bynum they also get the 20pick which could net them a PG or they could package with the 19 to move up I think the key for them is they get young pieces they can build around a couple picks and the cap relief to make them players in next years FA classwhy for the heat- good question well other than giving them the 3rd scoring option they have wanted (not saying kobe is the 3rd option proally shaq would [IMG] but this allows wade to play PG full time a postion he excells at while kobe can play the 2 they would b a deadly backcourt duo for years to come and despite wat people say I think they could co exsist wade really prefers to b a distributor and would easily b a top 5 PG while kobe wouldnt b able 2 jack em up like he has in LA he wouldnt need 2 with all the help around him in shaq and wade (not 2 mention halsem the young dwright and posey) even after shaq is gone mia is still a strong contender every year with a core of wright wade kobe and haslem ok b4 every1 jumps on me for this I just want opinions I know this will proally NEVER HAPPEN but I dont honestly think kobe gets traded for the simple fact I dont think any1 meets LAs demands so this is really just a crazy idea that I thought would make sense for both teams la gets youngsters as well as cap relief MIA gets Kobe to create a dynamic TRIO ok time for the inivitable go ahead bash it all u want lol

    1. I don't see Shaq and Kobe playing for the same team, ever again.2. Kapono, Jason Williams, Michael Doleac, Wayne Simien, and a few picks are not enough for Kobe. The Lakers can't be THAT stupid, I hope not at least.

That is a very weak deal for the Lakers. That deal would set them back further then the celtics are now. they basically get ripped just as bad as when they traded shaq to the heat all over again except this time no good players like caron butler or lamar odom.

like I said its by far not the best package they could get for him BUT the cap relief would b huge here and would make them SERIOUS players for arenas (my calculations on the salary cap could b off here which if it is then this trade is BEYOND pointless for the lakers) but if im right the cap relief and a almost GUARNTEE they could land gilbert cause hes from cali would b huge for LA but like I said I dont think this would EVER happen just figured I would throw out there my crazy kobe trade idea like every1 else

I see the trio of Shaq, Kobe, and Wade creating some problems. Plus, the deal is weak. The Lakers get nothing they need in this package either. They want youth back.

Wouldn't work because Kobe is one of the only players in the league to believe the game is supposed to be played from the outside-in.

Heat are not getting Kobe and keeping Wade/Shaq on the team. Crazy Kobe idea indeed. Enter a mental institution.

Your just making things harder for the Lakers. This means they have to go FA shopping all year this year and probably the next. Not only are they getting jacked on this trade, they have to find players that are willing to come prior to making this trade. So if your trade scenario works, it would have to follow these steps:- convince Gilbert and Rashard Lewis to come over (or any other two FA's, players leaving)- convince Shaq to let Kobe come back to play with him again- make the trade- dump the players they picked in the trade. (meaning MORE trading, since they cant waive anyone)- sign both playersThat will take at the MINIMUM 4-6 months, due to the fact that there is non stop negotiating on the Lakers part. I dont think the Lakers organization is up to the struggle, just because they have to go through 5-6 other organizations to make this even plausible.Mind you, its a good idea in theory, not realistically. You can easily do it in a sim league, but not real life.
