QUOTE

Agent Marc Cornstein told me Finnish point guard Petteri Koponen and Bosnian big man Stanko Barac are staying in the draft. Koponen is being considered by a handful of teams in the late first round. The fact that he's staying in probably means he got a team to commit. Likewise, it appears that Barac got a promise that enticed him to stay. Several teams drafting late in the first round, such as the the Pistons and the Spurs, have been intrigued by him. Dallas also likes him and holds the 34th pick.
Doesn't seem like a bad choice at 34. We do need a center with some offensive skills badly and he's got room to grow potential wise. Also, say he's not bad on the defensive end. It doesn't surprize me if we go big draft day considering 3 swingmen were invited to camp already. I just rather see Glen Davis at 34 though.

Yeah, I'd like to see Glen Davis here. He's going to be a huge sleeper, but we'll have to see if he falls far enough.
