Its definitely a shot if it goes he’s a hero. If it misses and they find a way to lose he’s a scapegoat. While he couldve waited another second or so, thats a very easy shot when you’re stepping into it. He isnt a great 3 point shooter, but I bet Kerr would live with getting it everyday of the week too.

I thought when they got it out of stephs hands they would foul immediately. I believe, Green, Livingson and Iggy got it, obviously iggy was wide open so no one there to foul.

Did you even watch the game? They still lost, but the defensive adjustment allowed them to erase a 12 point deficit and have a chance to win the game. The box-and-1 defense they used on Curry only allowed GSW 1 FG the last five minutes of the game, which was the 3 by Iggy to put it away.

They never had a chance to win. Got it within two but never got the ball back.

They did get the ball back but it was a five point deficit by then.

Really? Cutting the lead to 2 points with a opportunity to get a stop to get the ball back is a chance at winning the game.

The entire Raptors team was collapsing on Steph. Livingston made the right pass and i believe you are correct. He could have just held the ball and they would have lost another 3 seconds trying to foul him. By that time they let too much time run off the clock. Should never have let the ball leave Livingston's hands.

Well, the point is they never got the stop or the ball back. I also believe they had no timeouts at that point either, so had GS of wasted the whole clock theirs a big chance they dont even get a good look.

I'm just saying, they didn't get the stop so they never got a chance. Being technical I know, but it's what happened.

What I saw was 4 guys unwilling to take a wide open shot for most of the time after Klay went out. I do give credit to Nurse for the box and one, but the lineup was the bigger factor. Guys were wide open!

I feel like they were trying to kill clock the last 3-4 minutes, they werent very aggressive.

Exactly, just to prove your point you're being technical. But you're telling me in a one possession game with 27 seconds left, there was no chance to win the game? Give me a break.

Raptors come back came without Klay, that certainly helped their cause and allowed them to play that box and one D on Curry.

That's exactly why it's called an adjustment. They were wide open for a reason. Curry was the only one that they didn't want to shoot.

Well lets just say GS didn't capitalize on the defense. They got open looks that didn't fall. So saying they only allowed one FG is kind of a stretch. Very easily could have held that lead.
    4:05 Iggy missed a three
    3:38 Cook missed a three
    2:54 Green Missed a three
    2:29 Cousins missed a three
    1:21 Cook misses a 14 foot jumper
The Box and 1 did take Curry out of the game on the offensive end. Teams do this to Dame when he has few others. But if Klay is healthy or Durrant??? It isn't even an option.

Yeah well we left those same guys wide open at times too for a reason. How did that work out?

OMG, you guys are incredulous. Obviously with Klay or Durant in the game, this type of defense is not an option. But like I said, Nurse was able to recognize what lineup GSW had and ADJUST his defensive strategy.
