That's approximately $15/hour. Yep, that's very low and you can't expect the best candidates to accept at that low rate. However, 99.99% of the time the job would entail a lot of nothing more than being nice to the children. Seems like you wouldn't pay more for that part. But, you do need to be ready to defend the all important children, which should come naturally no matter what the pay is.
