To be in love is to care about someone more than you care about yourself. At 14 years old I don't even think you really know yourself yet. I think a person has alot of growing up to do and alot of maturing to do until they can really love someone who isn't family.You are probably just overwhelmed by the fact that you are mutually attracted (are you?) by someone of the opposite sex for one of the first times in your life. Just have a good time and enjoy your company with her instead of badgering yourself about if you're in love.

Its not love, you arent around her 24/7, you dont know all her flaws, you dont know what type of decisions she would make in certain situations, you might like her...ALOT..but its not love unless you know absolutely everything about her. The reason why im pushing this is because ive been in a long relationship where I and her liked each other alot...I would do anything for her. But as I got more and more closer to her, and we had been in certain situations as a couple, I knew I didnt and owuld never love her.

I've felt what you're feeling before. You just really like being around this girl and she makes you really happy. I've had the feeling and I think you just like the girl a lot. if you end up dating her I'm sure there's a chance you could be in love, but I can't see it being with someone you're not with. Just my opinion.

Yeah at the age of 14, you can be in love. I've been with my girl since the beginning of 7th grade and I'm still going out with and you could say I'm in love with her. Iversonfan, why don't you ask her out?

Oh yeah, for the people that asked, I am actually good friends with her lol. It's not one of those situations where I would just see her walking down the halls. And also I did already ask her out but got rejected but things didn't really get weird between us so were still talking to each other a lot and stuff.

AustinGrizz, you are talking about true love, obviously she's not gonna be his wife, but any love is love, not just true love
Well, when I think about love...im thinking about "true love"....it sounds like yall are talking about puppy love...which EVERYBODY goes through probably more than once....Its like how the saying goes, "its the blind leading the blind"...the 14yr olds on here are telling the other 14yr old hes in love...while the generally older posters are trying to tell him hes most likely not in love...just a major crush(which you start getting around 14 or so).
