The Journal Times<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Golden State Warriors hold the No. 18 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. Word on the street is that the team has more than a passing interest in Chinese power forward Yi Jianlian, who doesn't figure to be around that late. One rumor has the Warriors offering their pick and players ? possibly Jason Richardson ? to the Milwaukee Bucks for, at the very least, the sixth overall pick.</div>Link

Why would they want to trade Jason Richardson for somebody who's stock has been falling and probably won't even be good in the future? If the Warriors make this trade, they might as well forget about going deep in the playoffs next year, let alone making it.

J-Rich has been pretty injury prone...Charlotte should really look into this IMO. They have the cap now to take on his salary....although they would have to settle with May-Okafor or Brezec-Okafor type of frontcourt...

This is the first year J-Rich has missed more than 7 games in his career. He gets knee surgery, and then Pietrus kicked his hand and broke it. That's injury prone for ya

Thats the reputation he has right now, people really dont see him as being healthy..some say thats why his scoring went down this season...but that may be due to that trade...And dont call me stupid...

The reasons that his scoring went down were; 1. Yes he was injured for a while. At the beginning of the season, he couldn't elevate off his legs. 2. Stephen Jackson and Baron got more shots than he did.

I've never really heard of Richardson being injury prone either. Looking at his stat sheet, he's not at all. This last season he was injured, but over his career, he's played the majority of the games.Year GP GS01-02 - 80 7502-03 - 82 8203-04 - 72 7204-05 - 75 7505-06 - 51 49These last 3 seasons, he's missed more games, but overall in his career, he hasn't looked injury prone. He's just had injuries that have caused him to miss around 10 games in a season a couple times before this last season. He was putting up his best numbers the previous two seasons, averaging around 23 a game while shooting around 45% from the field, which is his peak. So, he's reaching the prime of his career, but injuries just slowed him down this season, as he averaged 16 points a game, which is 2 points lower than his career average, while shooting 41% , which is also 2 points lower than his career percentage. I would say Richardson is definatly in or around his prime right now, and the Warriors shouldn't trade him, unless they are getting maximum value for him

I wouldn't say he isn't, if the Warriors want a future of winning then they will need to draft a player who has a bright NBA career ahead of him, Yi could be that guy.
