I'm trying to figure out how he slipped below Thybulle. They seem to have similar abilities on defense, with similar length. True Little was less proven, but Thybulle only played zone. And Little seems to have a much better upside on offense. How do you take Thybulle over Little?
That's the beauty of the draft and why I don't get overly excited or down when a player is drafted. Each team evaluates players and although there will be many agreement on draft position, there will be those that don;t initially make sense. Time will tell but this year seems to be more wide open and unknown who can make it and who won't.
More game tape/preference probably. Sixers taking him kinda shocked me though... you can’t really play him with Simmons.
May be totally off base here, but some of the video I saw of him reminded me of a young Jerome Kersey. Now, that would be a great outcome from this draft where, frankly, I was expecting zilch.
You're welcome to double down on your ridiculous take that Wallace is Little's floor... we should be so lucky. STOMP
I don't know about his floor or ceiling but there sure are a lot of similarities. (Draft position, Size and the way they move) I do think that Gerald's 3 pt shooting is Little's floor since he was a career 31% shooter.
I do not think we could ask more anything more at 25. Super excited about getting a young wing. Love that he and Simons are buddies.
Exactly. Anyone who wouldn't be take Wallace's game/career from Little ought to have their head examined. That would be fantastic. STOMP
