My granddaughter whom sadly I've only met once and don't know well is playing in those games in San Diego...my daughter is so proud of her..missed out on that experience.....hoping to get to know her one day...my other grandchildren who I do know well will be there cheering her on! I have a lot of family in San Diego
You'd just rather be in the lotto with some idiot GM swinging for the fences like we always had before... Rather than just admitting that the contracts of 2016 weren't the end of the world...
I've never complained about any of that. So I assume this doesn't apply to me... Nothing wrong with pointing out when some people could man up and eat crow. It's hilarious how married to disliking members of our team some people can be. I wanted Nate gone but I gave him props when he made the right calls. If he'd ever gotten us to WCF I would have admitted I was wrong about him. Same as Aldridge. Eating crow isn't a terrible thing... Depending on the prep it can be quite tasty.
I dont really like Neil’s personality, I try to give him credit for things. I actually mostly like Stotts. Im not sure either are the guys to bring Portland another Championship. Getting to the WCF’s didnt really change my opinion on that. I’ll say I think NO did a good job this year, and the press conference after the draft was the most I have liked him since he’s been here. It not that Im tied to disliking them, its that while getting to the WCF’s was awesome, I want them to win another ring in my life time. The one thing you’ve continued to say that seems completely baseless is that Neil’s the best GM Portland could get and without him they’d be a lottery team. Sure that could be the case but you don't know that..
If Leonard is gone then they have to get another Big. Right now looks like he is the starter on day one.
Whos married to disliking who on our team? Thats what you got from HJ saying Trent has chucker tendencies? Smh...
That's pretty cool. Where are they playing the tournament at. We use to go to San Diego at least once a year for some of the bigger soccer tournaments such as my daughter played in the Surf Cup and my son played in the Nomads Cup. My son was also fortunate to play in a Nike Invitational tournament with many of the top teams from the best clubs in the west. Nike did it right as they had a cool World Cup like draw the night before where all the teams were present and the teams were drawn into pools. It was played at Cal State Fullerton. They finished 3rd out of 16 top teams. Good luck to your daughter and hope they can bring home some silverware to Oregon.
Has she thought yet about if/where she wants to play in college? One of my daughter's friends who just graduated is playing for Pepperdine next year.
