I'm pretty sure that Yi will be gone by the 10th pick. I think they should and will draft Julian Wright or Jeff Green whichever is there. If they are both there for the Kings, I am leaning towards the more athletic Julian Wright, as I think he will be a nice compliment to go along with Kevin Martin at the two.

Hawes, and Yi are the two main guys that they'll be looking to grab.. I think Julian Wright will be there at 10 but I'm not sure how much interest they have in him..

Hawes may be the guy they are looking for, but I do not understand why the Kings would want to get him. He is the same type of big guy that Brad Miller is, not a good rebounder and is rather soft on the inside. With Kenny Thomas, Abdur-Rahim, and Miller they don't have a tough big man that rebounds well. They need either Noah if he is there, or to go back to the small forward spot and Julian Wright. I don't think they need another big man that is so soft on the inside, they need someone that will get in and bang with people.

Hawes will provide more offense in his rookie year than Brad Miller did this year.. He's so advanced on offense for his age, great passer (much like Miller), and I think he'll develop into a solid rebounder. I can't argue with you though because they need a good rebounder that brings intensity and Noah does that. I don't think there's much of a chance he'll be available though..

Because Hawes won't be very strong, he will have a hard time getting inside to score, so lots of his points are going to have to come from the 15-19 foot jump shot that he is good at. So I really don't think he will be putting in many more points than Brad Miller does, the only difference will be Hawes would be more healthy probably than Miller. For a team like the Bulls who do have interior toughness and can rebound and play defense that's not bad having Hawes who can shoot that shot and draw the opposing teams big men out of the pain to guard his shots. But for the Kings, all of their big men are like that, and they have bad interior toughness, defense and rebounding. I think they would be wise to pick Noah if he was there, which your right, he could very well be gone by that time. If he is, Wright who can provide a nice set of perimeter players for the future with Kevin Martin.

Joakim Noah is the perfect fit. They need somebody who can do the dirty work inside. Sorry but Brad Miller isn't that guy. The Kings were the worst rebounding team in the league and really don't have any positions to address in the backcourt. So the front court is the way to go. They have a young stud in Kevin Martin and a good 2nd option in Mike Bibby. They don't need scoring, they need defense and rebounding. That's exactly what Noah brings and he would be a perfect fit. He is most likely gonna be the BPA at 10 too.

I think there is a good chance Yi could fall to #11 because he is a risky pick. I don't think he is what they need but seems to be a talented guy and could be hard to pass on. Hawes isn't what they need either, unless they are looking to deal Miller, but once again hard to pass on.

If I was the Kings id defently look to draft someone who can play in the frontcourt, they greatly need someone to operate in the post, if they can do that and sort out the situations between Artest and Bibby then there's a slight chance they could get it back together next season. They have to draft smartly though.
