<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pacers fan forever @ Jun 26 2007, 02:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>IU is gonna win the championship, sorry to break it to you guys. Why? College Basketball is a scorers game. And IU is set for that. Eric Gordon, Chris Kramer, D.J. White- that is what is called scoring. Those 3 guys could put up 50 ppg per night themselves together. Factor in the second most important factor in college ball: defense - you've got D.J. White and Eli Holman - both are defensive forces. Uconn and Memphis just have a bunch of pro prospects who are versatile but won't do much damage in college. And Tennessee, they're just not good enough.</div>1st of all, College Basketball is not a scorers game, it is a defensive game and a game about experience come tourney time. IU will not win it.2nd of all, Memphis has a much better chance of taking it over IU.3rd of all, have you seen UConn play? They aren't a bunch of pro prospects along with Memphis. Duke and UNC are those team. The teams with all the HS All Americans are the pro prospects teams. I don't know about Memphis, but UConn has none of those. Why don't you at least do a little research before you come to that conclusion.

UConn's going to have all their starters back from last year, and I expect Haheem Thabeet, Jerome Dyson, and that Kelly forward to be very much improved. Jeff Adrien, I hope, steps up to be the leader of this team still.

Last year he showed he was a great athlete with some huge dunks and his defense wasn't bad at all. I think he will shine this season as a nice forward for the Huskies.

I'm sure Calhoun has been working on rebounding against taller opponents with ALL of our big men. [IMG]
