What does any of that have to do with ANTIFA and the liberals making Portland their battleground? There wasn't a single right wing protest in Portland until ANTIFA tore up our city after the election.

Because he covers those events in particular, that’s his niche. That’s why he continues to show up. The reason he gets beat up every time is because antifa are a bunch of violent fucks.

Yeah, it's just not possible to cover a protest without getting close enough to be punched, right? That's why every journalist downtown got punched. Or did they?

You know those are other adult humans throwing those punches right? They are not bears at Yellowstone indiscriminately attacking for food. They are adults making a conscious decision to commit violence. Quit treating them as a random variable with no accountability.

It really is only a matter of time before one of these Antifa thugs gets shot for fucking with the wrong person, and while a life being taken is awful, it will be justified.

    That's not something I'm doing.

But if you want an explicit statement, they are certainly responsible for throwing the punches, and should be held accountable under the law.

They are, as you say, adults making a conscious decision to punch. And this guy Ngo, he's an adult making a conscious decision to be punched.

Quit acting like he's a bear at Yellowstone that randomly wandered through a campground.

If you can't see that ANTIFA is a reaction to Right wing extremism, first in Europe, than there's nothing I or anyone else can do. I've done all I can.

That wasn't ANTIFA. Those were anarchists.
I'm sure that many anarchists later joined ANTIFA but they weren't ANTIFA at the time.
I'm not defending ANTIFA but rather trying to point out that they are a reaction to Right wing extremists. It's certainly not the way that I would react and two wrongs don't make a right. I'm simply trying to put things into perspective but I appear to be failing.
I'd like to see some outrage at the people who got beat up at Trump rallies. It wouldn't have to be a lot of outrage but some would be nice.

Doesn't matter which side the violence is on there is no justification for it.

Not if they are the ones destroying property and hurting innocent people. And oh, preventing freedom of speech with hate.
Those are the dirt bags that need to get their ass's kicked and put behind bars and on a work crew. Fine them $5000 and take away their drivers license.

Vital flaw in this statement. The guy is making a conscious decision to be punched.

No he is not! He is consciously putting himself in a position where he might be punched.

So police officers should fit this then. They make a conscious decision to get punched and shot at and al that. So its their fault right???

Come on barfo. You are smarter than this...

Sure, and a guy who jumps off a 20 story building without a parachute is consciously putting himself in a position where he might splat on the pavement. But he's not actually making a decision to splat on the pavement, that's out of his control since he's not in charge of physics.

Are you serious with these comparisons? I mean what are the options for the building jumper? to be caught by a flying bird? To spread his wings? The jumper knows with 100% certainty the outcome will be smacking the pavement.

NGO doesn't know with 100% certainty he will be a victim of violence.

I'M about done with this back and forth if you arent going to use rational explanations(which you cant, because there is no rational justification for the violence the guy received)

Can we please have a real discussion and not these left field apples to oranges comparisons that dont equate?
