I agree with CB4... I wouldn't want my kid to hear that language, look at porno or start touching himself before puberty has taken it's course.

A parent that takes a kid to a football game might as well take him to a Dave Chappell concert. Civility erodes every time we give the finger to our neighbors. There's nothing wrong with going crazy at a game, but cussing around children? I don't like it because you're an example whether you like it or not.

While walking home I always sang a song with F*ck as the main word...it was weird. But if I was a parent I still wouldn't like my kids doing that.

I'm not forcing their kids to cuss. Me standing up and saying "what the F*ck kind of call was that?" isn't gonna force their kid the next quarter to stand up and do the same. The world has not acceptable things around us all the time...trying to hide stuff from kids isn't going to work..because they will see it eventually. Talk to your kids about sex..if they don't hear it from you..they will hear about it from somebody else.Same with drugs. Same with swearing. Same with anything you don't want your kids to do. Make it clear what is right and wrong for somebody their age. Then I can cuss at the game, and you don't have to worry about me ruining your kids life with a stupid word. They have TV, Video Gaves, Movis, Music, School...there are more outlets then their parents probably know about. Again..their kid has word thie word before. They already know the word. And if they are gonna say it...they probbaly already say it.
F*ck, ass, pussy, sh*t, bi*ch. I don't get why people make such a big deal on profanity. I guess in our society you have to act a certain way or people get offended. I'm not that way. Curse all you want for all I care. As long as you aren't threatening anyone or being prejudiced.
I try not to cuss hear any more. Because when it asterisks it out it just makes me look stupid. It's better than the WWE board I go to. If you cuss in your reply it wont let you reply. So you either have to take away the cuss word or asterisk it out yourself

I'm not going to say that it's important not to curse in front of kids, but it's a social norm. It's like cursing at a nun. It just doesn't fly. I can understand your annoyance at someone bringing it up, but I can also understand someone being upset about it. Parents just don't want their kids to be the one kid that curses all the time, has a filthy mouth, whatever.
When I hear a person who curses in every sentence...I think it sounds just trashy and they have no manners. Its something you just dont do excessively, and I for one am going to try not to say harsh curse words around my kids...like "fck, btch"
I got suspended 1 game in rec basketball because I said to the ref "you suck" wow the commish of that league I swear if you can kill people just once in your life I would of killed him I hated the guy, the ref was his son ahhaha

I want my son to be a good kid, and I don't want him to use profanity at such an early age. I don't want to take the chance.

It's okay to use, but (for me at least) swearing while my parents are present is a no-no. It's not really that they don't say the word, it's a thing of respect. That language is used primarily around friends and stuff, where you say things that you wouldn't normally say around your parents and elders.I used to swear alot, but I still do, just not as much. I agree w/ CB4, I wouldn't want 2 swear around em (but it will prob happen). I wouldn't want a young child to just use the word and not know that it is taboo in society. The kid is going to figure it out eventually, why speed it up lol
Speaking as a girl, guys who cuss are unattractive. It's just gross. And there's no point in it really. I don't see why you need to use profanity to drive your point home if you're arguing about something. And there's no reason for using it in your everyday language either.
I don't cuss, and I would never let my (someday) kids do itbut stuff like looking at porn doesn't bother me or masterbationat least I know they won't be gay
