Ottavino...Babe Ruth is laughing at the fact you thought you’d ever have a chance at getting him out.

Maybe we can package Ottavino and Encarnacion for a starter and keep Frazier. Jesus Christ. Here comes Britton now. Ugh

I had a feeling when Encarnarcion flubbed the dub at 1st; and could not dig the ball out of the dirt. I had a feeling Alonso was going to score.

Now Hicks screws the pooch diving, missing a very catchable ball. Hicks did not appear to be running with the swing of the bat. Had he oof caught it, and he should have, it would of been a catch of the week....
7 yrs of Huckleberry Hicks 'till 2026- 10-12 Million is cheap, BUT, I have never been a Hicks fan.

The only time Hicks has impressed me was years ago when you threw a hundred and five mph strike from the left field warning tracks to nail a runner at home plate.

Kaat's statement was prophetic, or may be.

11 games with 3 or less runs and 11 losses; is this number 12 ???

Boner constantly waits too long to make a pitching change. And Britton empties the bases with
a big fat pitch! Yankees relief fails again.....Mets 4 Yankees 2

    The Hangover is complete.

Britton is not the man you want coming in for that situation. He always gives up a hit. He needs a clean inning. Problem is, the Parrot has been a total flop here, at bat and playing defense. Trashman needs to trade him now before he lowers his value even more.

Edwin was the WORST possible trade this team could have made, seriously. Another HR or K guy. They needed a LeMahieu/Gardner type of player. A player that can set up the team and move runners over and get base hits. Instead they got yet another batter that doesn’t know anything but trying to hit a 5 run HR every time he’s up there. There’s a reason why Gardner is still playing ball and DJ is doing as good as he is...because they understand the REAL game of baseball, not this horseshit of going up there and trying to smash a HR every time, but taking what the pitcher gives you and working with that.

It’s also good to see that the little league umpires have followed us back across the ocean. Holy fucking shit, can we just get robots already for the K zone. Good god.

Honestly, Ottavino deserves this loss. 100%. But if our starting pitcher, a supposed ace, can’t go more than 6, and our lineup can’t get a fucking run in against a bullpen that had an ERA over fucking 9. Well shit. Fuck it. Edwin needs to be traded though ASAP. He’s a hole. A big giant Trashman sized asshole in the lineup and in the field. I’d rather have Ford playing first than seeing Edwin out there. Trade him now Trashman. For the love of fucking god, trade this dead weight mother fucker now before his trade value is 0!!!!

Going into this game the Mets bullpen was questionable. Not tonight! Yankee bullpen has been
on and off but because team scores many runs, bullpen got away with their shabby performances.
Not tonight! Come playoff time when all opponents are better, the Yankee bullpen will be in trouble.

Not just the bullpen come playoff time, but the entire pitching staff. This is why we need more DJ type players and less Encarnacion type.

Yep the pen pulled all of the big shitties but the offense was out to lunch. When LeMahieu aint hitting the Yankees aint winning.
