No, this isn't a Kevin McHale thread. I thread to discuss who the C's should take at the reasonably valuable #32 pick. They will prob be some pretty big names on the board and Ainge has made the best of recent second rounder. Guys like Marcus Williams, Aaron Gray, Jared Dudley, Marc Gasol, Nick Fazekas, Reyshawn Terry, or even Glen Davis, to name a few could be on the board still at this pick. Who do you go with?
I see Philly nabbing him at #30 for some reason. I think he would be a nice backup to Dalembert there. But he could be an option.
First of all, if Marcus Williams falls to 32, that would be a BIG TIME steal. He's a top 20 talent, in my opinion, and he's being so incredibly overlooked it's not even funny. I don't know what exactly I'd go for. As of right now, I guess I'll say take the slider. In a draft like this, somebody is going to slide to 32 that maybe could have gone 20-29. The only problem with that is that it's more than likely going to be a swingman, which is the least of our problems. If Danny swings a deal, or plans too, involving a wing or 2 from our team, then we'd be in good position to take a quality player at 32. I think that if Sean Williams is there at 32, which I don't think will happen, he's our man though.

assuming marcus and sean williams are gone.I'm thinking Marc Gasol or jared dudley as most likely the bma's that will be around.it's too hard to call, you don't know who may drop and who may be taken earlier than expected.
