    Just read the Wolves also signed Noah Vonleh to one year 2 mil deal....so Layman, Vonleh and former Duck Jordan Bell to the Wolves

    That’s 11-12 that could play ahead of him and not miss much. Again...we’re arguing over a “9th-12th man” and paying him what would amount to 6M a year...only on s2 is this even a conversation. I like Jake, he’s got talent....but he’s easily replaceable.

    Technically yes, but in this case Minnesota had a TPE that was big enough to absorb Layman thus giving us a TPE. If they had $15 million to sign him outright then there would be no need for a sign and trade.
