Theres been some real valuable players rumored on the trading block and free agency, (some since February) names such as: (no order)- Kobe Bryant- Rashard Lewis (FA)- Pau Gasol- Kevin Garnett- Zach Randolph- Jason Kidd- Chauncey Billups (FA)- Vince Carter- Gilbert Arenas (opting out next year)and the list goes on...With the exception of Lewis, I seriously dont think 3 of these players (especially non free agents) will be starting/playing for a new team come the 2007-2008 season. I think if teams were serious about winning and winning now they would have done it come trade deadline time. However, with the recent draft, some teams (Grizz, Celtics, Bucks) really need an overhaul and maybe a trade in the picks should change things around, but thats not even likely. Now, On people like Kobe, Garnett, Kidd, and Gasol leaving, I seriously doubt they will, just because making the wrong/right move can shape a franchise for the next 5 years, which is why I think some GM's dont want to pull the trigger. It just gets annoying seeing all these names being rumoured, but only one or two has a better than 80% chance of leaving.

I really don't expect many blockbuster deals this offseason. Vince Carter is likely staying in New Jersey (sides are close to a four-year, $60 million deal). The Lakers won't rush into trading Kobe, if they trade him at all, and the Suns will have a tough time pleasing the Timberwolves with an offer for KG that does not include Amare Stoudemire since Marion has made it known that he will not play in Minnesota once he opts out after next season. The only guys I can see leaving their teams this offseason are Rashard Lewis, possibly Gasol, and Zach Randolph.

I dont expect any big trades(maybe a J Oneal trade)...and I dont expect the Griz to overhaul, besides trying to get rid of some old players, theres no reason to trade anybody else(unless pansy ass Gasol makes a reason). If we can make the right moves, and Iavaroni can get this team going, I can see Memphis pushing for a 8th seed in the playoffs...

If any blockbuster happens this off-season, it is likely to involve Jermaine O'neal and/or Zach Randolph. However, other than that I would be surprised if another big trade happens. Do expect a ton of rumors about Kobe, Garnett, Gasol, and Camby but don't put any weight on the possibilety of them being true.Currently the Garnett situation is becoming a huge mess, but at least he's more likely to be traded than he was last off-season.

I think this year might have a few. It sounds like KG is gone, alnong with Pau. And I think trading Randolph would be the right move for Portland

I think Atlanta will be shopping the #3 pick hoping to cash in on a couple vets.Rumor here in Portland isRandolph and Jack for the #3 pick and M.Williams and Speedy.ATL might ask for Aldridge instead but I doubt the Blazers do that.

Both would almost instantly be playoff teams. Can you imagine Conley jr and Oden reunited in the NBA with Roy and Aldridge also? That's a dynasty right there, but it is just a rumor after all but if I was atlanta or portland id do that deal.

Some people are debating whether the Spurs are a dynasty, your calling conley, oden, roy, and aldridge one? Its way too early to tell, besides, you cant predict dynasties.

I expect:-Rashard to be on a new team-At least one of the big 3 (Kobe/KG/JO) to be traded-Billups to resign with the Pistons.-Ron Artest to be traded.-I don't really expect this one, but a VC sign and trade is looking very promising.

Well, after draft day three marginal stars;j-rich, allen, and randolph; were traded and it seems like there's more to come. Definitely looks like an interesting offseason.

Those players will all be allstars and some will likely be HOFers. in 10 years if you saw that they had a chance to have that then you would be shitting yourself. Its too early but it has all the makings.
