<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Bill Neff, the agent for Timberwolves guard Troy Hudson, has asked owner Glen Taylor to trade his client. The move was spurred by reports that Hudson was part of a proposed trade of Kevin Garnett to the Boston Celtics.Hudson's reaction, according to Neff? That would have been fine.Neff said Friday he has informed Taylor that Hudson would welcome any change of scenery and would like to be traded."He's healthy and he wants to play," Neff said. "If they don't like my guy, he might as well go someplace else. He can help someone, and he wants to help someone."Neff said Hudson is convinced the current regime, particularly coach Randy Wittman, doesn't believe Hudson can help the Wolves. But moving Hudson won't be easy. He has three seasons at a total of $18.9 million left on the contract extension he signed before the 2004-05 season.Neff stressed that Hudson, who averaged slightly less than six points in only 34 games last season, has not let his frustration with his lack of playing time affect the team, and won't in the future. He'd just like a chance to go someplace where he can contribute. The Wolves, according to Neff, could have traded Hudson to Detroit for center Nazr Mohammed during last season, but the Wolves wouldn't make the deal.</div>http://www.startribune.com/wolves/story/1263575.html
The Wolves, according to Neff, could have traded Hudson to Detroit for center Nazr Mohammed during last season, but the Wolves wouldn't make the deal. There is no way that's true. I'm not saying Mohammed is anything good, but I don't believe for s second that McHale would pass up on a deal to get Thud out of here.
What's up with Hudson. I remember him being a decent player for Minny in years past. He's fallen way off the charts and I haven't heard jack squat about him until his trade request recently. Is he still worthy of being a decent backup PG? I wouldn't mind seeing him back up Rondo in Beantown if he can still play.

He has been hurt much of the past few years, and when he does play, he never seems to give the ball up. He doesn't play defense and he shoots way too much. But all in all, I'd be glad to send him to Boston for you
