Line tonight is on the Yankee though I imagine intensity from a Rockies Team that was swept in 4 by a surprising Giants Team. I respect their Franchise and have liked some of their players on an individual basis.

I have waited forever for Boner to go out and blast these “stupid” umpires. So, what happens?
Mr. Joe Torre puts a one game suspension on the dude because TV picked up on his “ uncharacteristic”
language & incidental bump on the umpire. Boner’s outburst was long overdue. He needs to back
up his players on a consistent basis. He shouldn’t stop......he can afford it.
The league has a job on its hands in coming down on their umpires who are calling strikes on 55’ pitches!

Boner grows a pair and gets dinged for it, a real crock of shit. MLB should have reprimanded Torre over that midge incident in the '07 playoffs. The man is getting a bit self righteous. I'm with Boner on this one.

Agree cage. About time Boone got odd his ass and blasted these increasingly terrible umps. 1 game suspension well worth it as umps put on a little notice with their horrendous strike zones. Wish baseball would announce that the piece of shit behind the plate yesterday got suspended for impersonating an umpire

I’m not a Boone fan but it is absolutely ridiculous that he got suspended for calling out an umpire who was clearly having an AWFUL fucking strike zone and showing to the world why computers need to be calling balls and strikes. It’s also ridiculous that these umpires have NO repercussions for these blown calls other than not being able to be just as awful in the post season. MLB needs to start fining umpires and making it public when they do so. If an ump makes too many bad calls then he is faced with suspension and if he still has more, he is automatically fired. Time for these untouchable umps to be held liable for this shit. We call all thank/blame West and Hernandez for the fact that these umps get away with highway robbery out there with zero accountability.

No game should be tainted by an Umpires bad calls, and they have for too long.

Some of the worst calls imo, were in the 85 Series. Some were in the 2004 ALCS; where we saw Manny hit a Home Run Single, another of Clemens foot clearly on the bag covering first; while the runner was called safe; ntm- a blown HR or two that were incorrectly called wrapping around the Pensky Pole...

The boys already looking like the Keystone Cops as 2 runs score.

Very nice throw by Tauchman to nail the runner at home.
Gardner would have one hopped the Ball to the cutoff man, he never could have thrown it on a rope to home plate, tusnel the runner. With Gardner playing Left Field the score would be three to nothing with 2 outs.
