Any time you put the two most talented players on the court at one time it works out well. Even if they do get KG, they still need a PG though.</div>If they can pull in KG and do that Luther Head/Brian Cook trade, it could workout very nicely for the Lakers. Head can run point and can shoot, which is the type of PG the Lakers used when they were winning championships.
Wow...on ESPN-News they said Kobe wants to leave even if KG becomes a Laker. (That came from Kobe's camp) My god...what a jerkoff.

Good thing Boston pulled out.. they would get raped in the ass in this one. Minny also makes out like bandits, they get a 15 and 10 guy at the age of 22, and they get the 5th pick (not to mention they still have their 7th pick). They could get Conley at 5 and then a guy like Hawes at 7. PG Mike ConleySG Ricky DavisSF Trenton HassellPF Al JeffersonC Spencer Hawes6th Man: Randy FoyeOnly thing is that I'm not sure Hawes will be able to start right away. Minny would be going into rebuilding mode after this trade, but looking at their lineup, they wouldn't be in rebuilding mode too long.

That would be nice for them if they were looking to rebuild.

This would create a great position for Minnesota with a great young potential in Big Al and 2 rookies in this prized draft. Too bad for Minnesota, good move by the Celtics.

The Lakers would be meeting his demands, and doing it in a great way.
Ok a few things we've learned over the past month (or, that people ignoring the truth learned):- Kobe is an ass.- Kobe isn't a winner.- The Celtics are going to get raped again if they do this deal.
I love this deal for Minnesota, but Boston would need more in return for the 5th pick and Al Jefferson.Pacers RosterG: Tinsley / McLeodSG: Daniels / DunleavySF: Granger / WilliamsPF: Odom / Murphy / DioguC: Bynum / Foster / HarrisonDeep in the frontcourt, still terrible in the backcourt. But they would be better for the future.

Marquis Daniels will improve and likely be a great defender as he was a big part of the mavs run to the finals. That team as a whole would improve to be much better then where they are at now.
Tinsley's problems have always been staying healthy. Last season was his first season that he played 70+ games since 2002. When he is healthy, he's a decent/solid PG, averaging 10-7 over his career.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Marquis Daniels will improve and likely be a great defender as he was a big part of the mavs run to the finals.</div>No he wasn't. He barely got time and he was in Avery's doghouse. The only significant time he got minutes was Game 6 against Miami. Daniels; only solid year was when he was under Nellie and his burst in the playoffs against the Kings. After that, he's never lived up to that playoff run. He struggled to break the Pacers starting position after the Golden State trade. Plus he's got himself in trouble with the law twice.

Imagine if this thing doesn't fall through...I bet it would just be fuel to the fire for Kobe and would prove his point that Kupchak and the rest won't do what it takes, even though he said he wouldn't want to stay anyway. Bipolar bastard...
