Just looked at the score...holy fuck. Well I’d like to say I hope this is a wake up call for the front office with Rothschild, but in reality we are about to WAY overpay for Stroman. Say goodbye to Garcia and Frazier and a few other A prospects for a B minus pitcher.

    Unbelievable
The Yanx and Bosox both arrived in Boston at 6 am.
The Yanx never slept last night and neither did the Bosox.

    Difference in the Game. ??

RedSux have been waiting to plant one on these Yankees all year. Really. How the fuck is this team
in first place? Not one starter in the last ten days cannot go four innings....and I can hear a Yankee
homer yelling .....”It’s only a summer slump...” that may last through September!

Higashioka hits a solo home run. Why couldn't you do that with the bases Juiced earlier?

Tarpley looks like he could help someone at the all star game win the home run derby

I imagine watching Tommy Lasorda tap dance in nothing but Speedos would be as gut-wrenching, as watching this nightmare ...

What a show in this first game against the division rival. Offense goes out on coffee break, Boner & the child gaze in wonder at a pitching staff that fails to live up to even their own meager performance standards.

Bahstin scoring 19 runs is he most any Yankee team has given up in the history of these two
baseball teams! Congrats to Boner & the Trash man. At least you’ll go down in the history annals
    for something you both deserve!

    https://deadspin.com/maybe-the-yankees-should-not-allow-masahiro-tanaka-to-f-1836715434

    Tanaka-
His final line is pure carnage: 10 outs, 87 pitches, 12 hits, three walks, 12 runs, all of them earned.

According to Baseball Reference, Tanaka’s outing was the first time in franchise history that a Yankees starter has allowed 12 or more runs while recording 10 or fewer outs

. David Wells in 1997 was the only other Yankees starter to allow as many as 11 runs while recording 10 or fewer outs.

The Yankees have been around for 106 years—they’ve got a lot of history! Being the first to accomplish some positive milestone or feat in Yankees history is very special; being the first to fail so spectacularly, well, that's bad...
