Here’s how it will play out with him: Walks first batter in 5 pitches. Second batter gets a base hit, runners on first and second. Third hitter strikes out. Fourth hitter hits a double and scores 2. Fifth hitter walks. Mound visit by Rothschild. Sixth hitter strikes out. Seventh hitter grounds out.
I wonder if Ron Guidry would even consider becoming the Yankees pitching coach with BaBoone in charge. Highly unlikely the Louisiana lightning The Ragin Cajun would ever consider working for Trashman a 2nd time. At this juncture Captain Kangaroo could do better than Rothschild but he's dead. It would be nice though if the ump called a consistent strike zone. That first pitch to Benintendi was a strike, and was called one in the top of the 9th on Didi. Umps this year have been consistent in one thing....being awful.
