Indeed, Greinke wouldn't of been a good fit in NY, cuz he refuses to play for idiots.

But, for Houston to make Major moves no one expected i.e. Cole, Verlander, Greinke, while Trashman slept. Ntm- they stole Brantley as Trashman could NOT pull the trigger on his squirt gun...
The Disney Army will prevail in the Bronx giving "Bombers" a new meaning...

Well Greinke would have said no to NY for many reasons, and has proven that. Now in Houston he’ll have access to their “magic potion” and will be unhittable. Meanwhile Trashman made a single A move. Fucking guy doesn’t belong in an MLB front office.

Cortez in, promptly gives up a bomb. This game is not over and the Yankees have used 7 pitchers today. After today 55 games remain on the schedule at 7 pitchers a game do the math. Creative bull pen work by Boner, Bull Shit!

    Source?
Or are you just making shit up because of your disdain for Cashman and Boone?

Boston didn't add a much needed pitcher, wonder if Sox fans are pissed off too?

Disdain occurs after you realize that you are watching incompetents getting major pay for doing little or
    nothing. Enjoy.

Yankee closer showing what it is like to be overused. How many pitchers are you going to put in the game to get
    one f’king out?

As awful as it sounds, does it really matter anymore? This team is NOT winning the World Series. Trashman made sure of that.

@BobKlap "Among dead-ends #Yankees ran into was deal with #Mets, who I'm told were ready to flip Stroman to the Bronx in exchange for Estevan Florial and Deivi Garcia, among others. #Yankees said no."
This is what he is dealing with.

Seriously?? "Boston didn't add a much needed Pitcher", seriously???

Do you think they really need to add another pitcher to shred and destroy us even worse than they did??? Yeah I'm pretty sure Boston fans are really pissed off that they kicked our ass, worse than ever did me in the 116 year history, seriously??? :biglaugh::deadhorse:

And -- they did add a pitcher (EO), who came off the DL to make Yankee batters look awkwardly sick at the plate, as he did last year....

If your going down that route...than adding sevi and betances will be better than overspending on a mid rotation guy cause you were not getting an ace.

If Trashman is counting on Severino then the Yanx are in serious trouble, cuz he has yet to throw a pitch in any game.

Severino says himself, he doesn't expect to return until the last week of September.

    https://bleacherreport.com/articles...line-flop-likely-blows-chance-at-a-2019-title
Severino, who's recovering from shoulder and lat issues, hasn't thrown an inning all year. Handing him the ball with the expectation that he'll rescue the Yankees, not to mention allow Cashman to save face, is an awfully big ask.

As for Betances, which Dellin will show up?? The one who has a devastating Fastball, and a sharp off speed curve, or the one who throws balls over the Umps head, to the backstop, and has noooo control, none at will ??? The Million $$$$ Question...

The two-time All-Star righty isn’t OK with staying in the bullpen until 2020.

Severino, who has been out all season with a lat strain, hopes to be back with the Yankees by September and starting games by the final week of the season. And after that, he wants to be starting postseason games.

"Yeah, of course,” Severino told NJ Advance Media. “I think I’m going to be back before the playoffs and I think I’ll be able to start at least a couple games before the playoffs.
“If I have to start off throwing one inning and then my second outing two or three innings, I’ll be happy to do it. But I think when we get to that point – the playoffs – I’ll be ready to throw around 100 pitches.”

For the time being, Severino still is a long way from being major league ready and probably one more setback from being shut down for the season. But he’s been throwing for the last 10 days after being shut down from late June until July 15 due to a setback, and so far his arm feels as good as ever.
