There is NO logical or ethical reason it should cost that much! That’s corporate price gouging and has to stop. Our current system allows corporations to profit off of sick people and it is so wrong.

You're wrong on the wording of her propasal, and you need to do more research on the monthly price of prescription drugs.

    Plain and simple.

Which is why her plan Medicare For All negotiates prescription drug prices.

What's not being talked about by many people is drug companies are buying gene and stem cell therapy businesses and shelving their research and breakthroughs. It's far more profitable to treat diseases and medical problems throughout someone's lifetime than it is to cure them once and for all.

Just sad. That's why Bernie and Warren make sense, even though I think their ideas are essentially DOA.

The cures are out there. Your right, big pharma has bought them and kept them hidden. There is no money in cures.

At least they have the balls to take on big pharma, the oil companies, etc. Their corrupt influence needs to be removed from our government. They spend millions to elect candidates who will get rid of regulations and make bigger loopholes for them. Because these giant corporations are so in control and in the pockets of our government, it is an improbable feat at this point to remove them. So, it is easy to say Warren, Bernie, or anyone else who would stand against them are too radical or are out of their element and wave them off.

Hillary and Biden are not moderate

Obama and Bill were, but they aren't really today, are they?

Why are the cure-makers selling out to big pharma? Are they just in it for the money too?

    Because it's true

I bet you there are cures for Aids and Cancer out there...for other diseases that as far as we know have no cure. They are out there. They are hidden for profit and maybe even for population control.

They don't have much of a choice. The companies they work for are being bought out. Big Pharma now owns the cures. The scientists can't reveal them because they no longer belong them and they will be sued into the ground, not to mention they are probably threatned in other ways. They are given the option of taking lots of money to take care of their families or to have their lives destroyed.

What would you consider Biden and Hillary, if not moderate? Because neither one of them is liberal, in any way shape or form.

Biden is definitely more moderate than some of the whack jobs.

Hilary is not running, is she?

Beholden to corporate interests equals "moderate" now?

    Good to know.

Bernie is still my number 1 but Yang is a close second and a couple of the other candidates (Booker, Warren) are really growing on me. I don't like Harris at all, and I don't get what anyone sees in Gabbard except that she's the most attractive person out there. Buttigieg is a big old 'meh' for me but I can't say I dislike him. Inslee made an impression, he would be a good VP. Overall I'm glad the field is getting cut down for the next debates.

My personal choice would be a Warren/Castro ticket.

Castro and Booker are positioning themselves IMO for the VP slot. They are kicking in debates but just too many candidates for them to gain a lot. But either could be an asset on a ticket. Although if a man is the nominee I think the VP will be a woman.
