    Not accurate. You started posting your very unique views on Muslims in this country in one thread, when those posts didn't get the response and discussion you were hoping for you started a 2nd thread to cover the same thing you were talking about in the other thread.

    Just like I did with this thread, @Chris Craig started a new thread about Trump's comments from a rally a few months previously but the discussion quickly turned into a duplicate of what was being discussed in this thread. Since they were two threads about the same topic I merged them together.

    We didn't need two active threads discussing Muslims in this country and we didn't need two active threads discussing the two shootings and the arguments over them.

    try talking here about the subject and try not to worry about what anybody else does, says or doesn't do.....this victim thing isn't a good look. unless you are a moderator here, you don't have control over thread merging, editing, etc.....once you accept that, you can talk about all these subjects until the cows come home and it doesn't matter who starts a thread to anybody. we all talk all the time without record of our conversations in normal life....might try to pretend this is normal life..

    How in the hell did the Dayton shooter get a gun? He had made a hitlist at school and got in trouble for it with the police. We need red flag laws, so this kind of stuff shows up in background checks.

    It will make things safe if we are able to share all pertinent information between multiple agencies. Background checks should be absolutely comprehensive. School behavior should show up in standard background checks. Things shouldn't go away because someone turns 18. Background checks should have unlimited access to one's mental health record and assessments.

    Persons on certain medications or diagnosis shouldn't have access to guns either. This should extend to everyone living within a household where a crazy can have access to a firearm.

    Only a select, well qualified percentage of the population should have access to guns.
