Why isn't it sinking in? It's all fake news. Not a new phenomena, not a party thing, IT'S ALL FAKE! Here's the very last known Real News in America:
Eisenhower was completely fake. Just an actor they hired to play the part, to distract Real Americans from the bigger issues. barfo
Sometimes a flippant remark can make the speaker appear so incredibly small. At the tail-end of WWll, at the age of 17, my father joined the army and was shipped off to Europe. Within months he had become Sargent of Eisenhower's Honor Guard. After Hitler's demise, my father spent the rest of the war alongside Eisenhower as they traveled from death camp to death camp "liberating" what was left of human lives there. Up until that point, the world had no idea of the actual magnitude of the horrors that existed there. They were quite literally the eyes of the world as every moment they uncovered unimaginable cruelties, all day, every day, then moved on to the next camp. There was no joyous cheering and greeting the heroes, the victims that still held onto life were simply using what energy they had left to breathe. Many could not swallow and actually died from trying to eat. A few times, to retain their sanity perhaps, Ike invited my dad to have lunch with him, asked how the troops were holding up and such, but mostly they talked about fishing the Rogue River which was a favorite past time for both of them, and promised they'd fish it together sometime after the war which of course they knew would never happen. It was just a diversion they needed to clear their minds enough to attend to the task at hand. My father was not one to idolize any man, but the respect he had for Eisenhower was very real. Having studied Eisenhower since I was 6 years old I've concluded he was the 2nd Greatest Real American that ever lived.
Fake news, dude. Live by the fake news sword, die by it. Why should anyone believe your father's stories? Just old fake news. Facts don't exist anymore. Your alternative facts are that Eisenhower was a great guy, my alternative facts are that Eisenhower was an actor playing a role. My alternative facts are just as good as yours - the current actor/president says so. Yours is a nice story, and back when we all believed in facts, I might have been interested, but now it's just that much more fake news. barfo
What's of more interest right now is Trump has claimed 3M+ fraudulent voters and is now launching a nationwide investigation. CNN is bringing on people responsible for assuring a fair election from a few states to try and make Trump look bad. It is interesting these people do claim they've done their own investigations and found hundreds or thousands of instances of fraudulent votes out of a few million cast. What isn't being said is how you can tell if votes are fraudulent. It's quite possible, and even likely, that if non-citizens get registered and are not caught, that they simply got away with voting. These votes are simply not easy to detect. The ballot is anonymous once cast, so you can't look at them individually to determine anything. About 15M latinos live in California alone. Estimated 3M illegals. If all it takes to get on the voter rolls is a driver's license, utility bill, and SSN, I can see how millions nationwide might get registered and vote as if legal. I know from my experience getting registered that there was nothing required to prove my citizenship and it only took a minute. Then the state started sending me ballots and other voting materials and information. To vote, I show up at the polling location, they look at my license and find my name on a list of registered voters and take my ballot. I have the option to vote by mail, too. If I do, nobody in the election process can verify I am who I am or that I'm a citizen. It will be interesting to see this play out.
He trolled the media into allowing/approving him to open an investigation. It was pure fucking 12D chess. So damn funny.
Exactly! The press was wondering why he kept pressing the issue and now they are like, "wtf?! Our gravy train may get exposed!" Hahaha
That all is probably worthy of its own thread. One that would soon be flooded with butt hurt tweets. I'd rather an honest examination of what's going on. If this nationwide investigation finds nothing, then Trump absolutely looks foolish and we all should acknowledge that. I know I am both dubious and willing to call it what it is. I'm also open to the possibility he's on to something. A lot of times I've looked into similar "outrageous" claims he's made, there's been some legit supporting evidence to back him up.
Damn now abc caught spreading fake news and having to apologize. This is not a war that the lame stream media can win. SAD http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/201...caught-deceptively-editing-quote-sean-spicer/
Cowardly Network of Liars Cnn tries to embarrass Reps with a setup for not changing schedules to accommodate CNN on short notice, then cancels everything when Rep accepts 2 invites., then gets humiliated on twitter. CNN cancels scheduled Matt Gaetz appearances hours after ‘shaming’ Republicans for not appearing on network By Brian Flood | Fox News Rep. Matt Gaetz said that CNN canceled two scheduled appearances by him on Monday, only a few hours after the liberal network listed GOP lawmakers who declined interview requests. CNN aired an on-screen graphic naming 49 Republicans whom the network said declined interview requests. Gaetz, a Florida Republican, was not listed among them and took to Twitter to declare he was ready to chat. “I was scheduled for @ErinBurnett today. She cancelled. Then I agreed to go on @AC360. They cancelled later in the day. I’m ready for the discussion whenever @cnn is,” Gaetz tweeted Monday evening. A spokesperson for Gaetz declined comment beyond the tweet. CNN did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Rep. Matt Gaetz was ready to appear on CNN. Gaetz has not been rescheduled to appear on the network despite CNN calling for Republicans to discuss the tragic mass shootings that occurred last weekend in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. "We reached out to 50 Republican lawmakers to speak about this issue today. Forty-nine of them said no. Ted Yoho, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, he said yes,” CNN’s Jim Sciutto said on Monday afternoon when introducing an interview with Yoho. Cable news watchdog Mediaite wrote that CNN led the interview “by naming and shaming” GOP lawmakers who declined to appear. CNN’s Jake Tapper also tweeted about Republicans who declined his interview request.
