Ok there are a ton of legit trump criticisms but this is a massive reach. This is what every president does. It’s perfectly understandable for people to not like trump, but do we really have to pretend everything he does sets some new precedent? You guys know there were presidents before this guy right?

When the shooting began in El Paso, a woman threw herself on top of her 2 month old infant. Her husband threw himself on top of them both. Both parents were killed. The baby survived although was injured. He was treated at the hospital and released. This baby who will never know his parents was returned to the hospital for a photo op with a grinning Trump.

Video showed Trump boasting that his recent rally in El Paso, where he warned a mostly white crowd about "invasion" by Latinx immigrants destroying their city and then stiffed the city for the cost, was bigger than the Rally for our Lives hosted by Beto O'Rourke and Congresswoman Escobar.

I hated pretty much everything Bush did. He botched Hurricane Katrina, put a totally unqualified horse breeder in charge of FEMA, partied while New Orleans drowned and made the infamous "heck of a job" comment. But when he finally went to New Orleans and a woman began to dry, some humanity in him moved him to embrace and console her. Bad as he was as a president, he was still capable of some compassion on the most basic human level.

Trump is not. He is a sociopath who cares for his ego and his wealth, nothing else. Every other person, animal, plant, thing on Earth are nothing but props for him. Either serve him or be dismissed. He isn't even really a conservative, he has no consistent political ideology, it's whoever flatters him (Kim Jong Un, went from fire & fury to in love by flattering Trump). Take away the intelligence from Hannibal Lecter and you get Donald Trump.

All points>TRUE! Bush let Chaney make decisions and Trump thinks all decisions he makes, with opposing criticism, are un acceptable.

Its only a reach if there is a precedent though.

    So... Is there?

    If not, then....

3rd grade “gotcha!” logic doesn’t work on me, I stated pretty plainly what I thought. No need to attempt Jedi mind tricks, you might hurt yourself.

He was praising the hospital workers who cared for the victims. I don’t know, maybe his enthusiasm was in bad taste. Chock it up to him being a jackass, at the very worst. I doubt there are any sinister ulterior motives at work here.

Also, someone might want to let the smiling hospital employees who saved lives know that their behavior is out of line.

Maybe you could scroll up a few inches and highlight where I actually said that? Because I’m pretty sure I didn’t.

    But since you asked:

Here’s Obama shamelessly using Sandy hook victims families as props in some selfish photo op. Oh! The horror! What a monster.

Did you watch Obama's speech after the Sandy Hook shooting? Compare that to trumps bs speeches and false promises. He lied to the Parkland students and now will lie to the people of El Paso and Dayton or was that Toledo?

Trump talked about how great the reception was for HIM. How they respected the president. Then attacked the Mayor of Dayton, one of the state's US Senators, and El Paso's Congressional representative. This is NOT how a real president behaves.

People in the hospital did not want to have their photos taken with him. When has that happened before?

Stop trying to defend the indefensible.

Now he is doing a tony fundraiser at $250,000 a pop with billionaires ready to accept massacres as the price of tax cuts for the rich, then go play golf.
