Punching someone you deem a Nazi only proves what they believe is right in their eyes. That's the response they want. You cannot fight violence with violence. While One group might've been formed for the right reasons. The way One group handles themselves doesn't promote anything but more violence. Violence breeds violence.
Neither group is innocent, but apparently the president and Ted Cruz only want to point the finger at Antifa and label them a domestic terror group but no such thing for the right winger groups like proud boy as such. I don't support either one, there punks. However, I have only seen Antifa destroy property and mob attack someone who was alone. Plus hey threatened my grand daughter so in order for them to get on my good side they better take off their mask and show some respect, then be heard rather than come across like a bunch of frightened pussies.
Theres part of me that, “gets it”, they see an ideology they believe is all about hate, or at the least very much opposed to theirs, represented by Trump, or the proud boys and they want to, “combat” that, by protesting. Just like the proud boys, see liberalism and an ideology that they disagree with and want to voice their opinions as well. However, I think its gone way beyond voicing the opinions, and actual protests. Its divisive, destructive and violent. Like I said earlier, Im much more inclined to be against Fascism especially the versions of it espoused by the far right in this country, but I am not at all on board with the methods, and rhetoric that ANTIFA has used as I dont find that to be any better.

Even before Trump they were in Seattle and Portland rioting against Wall Street & burning flags and destroying property. heck, if the Hells Angles come to town and protest something in a peaceful manner Im all for it, once they get crazy and destroy stuff and abuse citizens is where i have an issue. If you have only seen antifa cause property damage then you aren't paying attention as both groups have had plenty of situations causing destruction of property.
Cops have done a tremendous job so far on the west side. Right wing nut jobs crossed the river and dip shit Antifa seem to be following them. Ugh. This is gonna happen on the east side. I hope the cops had a plan for that
