I'm looking forward to the West Coast Swing.
10 O'clock East Coast Time games SUCK...
(only if yer on the East Coast)

The Holy Trinity, i.e. Friday-Sunday at Chavez Ravine via Sports Net LA, aka The Blue Bums Dodger-vision Portal...
Not quite as bad as the Haloes Channel. Hershiser is a decent commentator, Garciaparra isn't bad either.... (even tho' he was a blood red-hose-r).
    :drinkapint: :smiley-puke:

I wish MLB scheduling would of slipped in Anaheim while the Yankees are in town this go round.

A’s & Yankees met in last year’s wild card game with the Yankees winning 7 - 2. A’s waiting for these
games wanting some sort of revenge. If Yankee pitching falters, A’s will capitalize.

The older I get these west coast games suck. I rarely get to see the whole game. Mr. Sandman puts
the kibosh on my staying up. Here’s hoping the pitching improves & is supported by Yankee hitting.
    Go Yankees!

Rivalry Note: "Now the Red Sox's ace, and their impromptu bullpen arm, is finished for 2019. Although Sale is expected to avoid Tommy John surgery, sources tell ESPN's Jeff Passan, he likely will miss the rest of the season with left elbow inflammation. Sale met with Dr. James Andrews on Monday and received a platelet-rich plasma injection, Red Sox general manager Dave Dombrowski said in a statement. Following a recommended shutdown from throwing, Sale will be reevaluated by Andrews in six weeks." Source:ESPN

No question that Oakland has a good team but the line for tonights game is on the Yankees. On paper German is up over Bailey. Hate those West Coast Start Times but I'm going to try to catch as many games as possible.

I probably will miss majority of game, not because of Mr. Sandman, but I am designate driver to
take my neighbor for ambulatory eye surgery at 7:30 AM tomorrow! I just hope I get up on time!
With my luck I would not be surprised that the game goes extra innings when I get up
    early Wednesday AM. LOL :breakdance:

Sounds strange but I have more confidence in German’s pitching than I do of the others on this
    staff.

Watched "High Heat" this afternoon, normally I find the "Mad Dog" a few French Fries short of a Happy Meal but today there were some topics of interest. One being that Dombrowski may be given his walking papers after the 2019 season. Seems that Boston ownership is looking to step in a different direction in '20. I'd like to see what Dombrowski could do with the Yankees but I'd guess that aint gonna happen. Also mentioned were injuries to different members of the Boston Pitching most notably Sale. No sympathy from Yankee Fans on that one, the Yankees have played next man up all season long and it has worked. Another topic brought up is the constant chatter of who the division and wild card winners will be. Long leads are great but the one I always think about until a win in cinched is the '64 Philadelphia Phillies. 6 games up with 10 to play and failed to make the World Series. Nobody has won anything yet take it one game at a time until a clinch is made.

Yankee followers & haters come to the conclusion that Brian Cashman is the “genius” behind the
rise of Yankees with all the injuries to their “star” players. What is really the reason for this team’s
rise with 2nd, 3rd string replacements? Who would have thought that the LeMahieu’s, Urshela’s,
Tauchman’s would outperform all expectations. Not even “genius” Cashman could have foreseen
the Yankees’ good fortune. The rise of the depth of the Yankee roster.....is it Cashman’s doing or is
it the overachievement of the replacement players? When Andujar went down with his season ending
injury, some on this board were calling for this up and coming star to be traded for ‘somebody else’s
star pitcher’.......thinking Urshela should be the regular 3B. Before this season Urshela had a career
.241 BA. You are going to tell me Cashman “knew” Urshela had a .361 BA in him? When every Yankee
fan knew Cashman needed pitching replacements, he kept collecting middle infielders at a torrid
pace. Why?....to help his farm teams?.....or to have backup insurance? I do not put Yankee GM on
a pedestal. “Genius” GMs develop strong pitching talent in their organizations.....Trashman is having
a dogged time developing pitchers for the parent club! Besides, is this the team that will be representing
AL in the World Series? This question won’t be answered until October 2019 or sooner.

    My apologies for my rant.

    ....^^^^

I was one of those calling for a trade of Urshela. Gio won my heart over rather quickly.
Now, what to do about Andujar??? Have Miggy work on his footwork and the other Thunder Alley???
One thing is for sure, Andujar swings a hot bat for such a young kid...

Imagine this line up with GT, Urshela, LaMahieu, and Andujar. I still consider Andujar special and a Yankee for many a season. I'd see Stanton gone before most any one else.
