Both of them sound exactly the same. They both smoke weed, great shotblockers, and both 6'10. Griffin had all the potential in the world to improve and be a legit PF in this league but never put any effort in his game, and overall he was a low-life. Will Sean Williams end up the same?

As players I think they are very different, but they have some similarities, both overall it seems accurate with the stupidity and immaturaty. From what I've read, Sean seems like a brighter guy than Eddie was.

Wow I didn't think about comparing Sean Williams with Eddie Griffin but I guess they could be quite simler in the longrun, well I hope not.. I think Sean Williams will turn out alright and if he does then mabye he can possibly transfer all that talent of his to a NBA basketball court.

Griffin was looking like he would be a pretty nice player, especially with that range he had...but I agree, we might see Sean Williams end up like this guy. He hasn't fully applied himself in college and I don't see why he'll do it in the NBA. If anything, he'll just have more money to buy more weed. I hope he does pan out, it would be nice to see another shotblocker like Theo Ratliff was in his prime in the NBA.

#1 Griffin was more of a perimeter oriented forward while williams is a strictly post oriented big man. And I honestly 100% believe Williams learned his lesson. I do not expect any more problems from this young man.

I've seen Sean Williams when he's not with the media and stuff, he's a pretty chill guy, and I think the NBA means to much to him to screw it up like Eddie Griffin. I dont think there will be any problems with him either.
