6pt per passing TD makes the elite QB worth something.

Mahomes was an outlier last year and was very valuable, regardless of QB scoring format.

But when you look at QB 1 vs QB 12 in most years compared to RB/WR 1 vs RB/WR 30 (assuming 2 rb's, 2 wr's, 1 flex are started), 6pt per passing TD more accurately represents QB value within the position.

 

Mahomes also had a historic season so to focus on just him isn't really an accurate view on all QB's.

Aaron Rodgers only threw 25 TDs last year so he would've been worth 50 points more for the whole year. That's 3.33 points per game. Davante Adams had more points last year in our league than the QB throwing him the ball. With 6 points per TD Rodgers would've had 30 more points for the year than Adams but instead had 20 points less. To me that is "nerfing" the QB. It's totally fine that you disagree.

 

You're downplaying the difference while also trying to say its a big difference.

70 if we made it 1 point per 10 passing yards, which with your logic we should as well.

Saying that TD's should be worth the same is not the same argument as yardage being equal.

Just because you say you arent complaining doesnt mean you arent complaining. Youre complaining that the scoring is 4 points. Youre complaining about the waiver wire order. Maybe you mean to come across differently than you are, because they sound like nothing else but a complaint. What else would you call it?

Given last year and how Ive tried to fix every single thing you complained about, its tiring. Especially since you had the chance to bring it up before the draft and waited until now to do so.

I've never heard someone complain about a fantasy football league as much as you do. I dont have a problem with you or JDC or anyone having their own preferences... Im just not trying to deal with constant complaining all year.

I stated several times that I'm not trying to change the rules this year otherwise I would've brought them up earlier. You're once again making me feel like I can't express my opinions. You say you are open to discussion but then say shit like I'm complaining and you'll never change that rule. I've said nothing to attack you personally. I appreciate that you took the time to lay out the rules clearly this year.

I'm entitled to have my own opinion. We disagree a lot about fantasy rules and procedures. It doesn't mean I'm complaining or trying to fuck up your league. Please stop turning our disagreements into something they are not.

Im fine if people dont like the scoring and they can voice it, but none of them complain anywhere near as much as you have. Most of them will say somerhing positive about it as well. You? Nope!

You throw out stuff for discussion and other than myself people barely say anything so it makes it look like I'm the only one and it's complaining but it's not. I'm trying to start a discussion now so that we don't have the same issues next year where we try and discuss a rule and not enough people care to give their input making it come back to just you and I fighting about it.

Honestly, I thought your reasoning for the 4 point passing TD last year was because of the two QB starting lineups. That's my bad for not noticing it sooner, which is why I clearly said the first time I brought it up that I was talking about next year. I'm totally okay with the rules the way they are as unlike last year they were clear from the beginning. I have no right to complain about the rules because I knew them before I signed up. You saying you won't ever change a rule, talking about power, and being like this whenever I disagree with you doesn't feel very inviting for people to provide their feedback.

As for the waiver process, you don't think the waiver priority being accurate is an issue? This isn't an attack on anything you did but if you should've been 1st on waivers and were near the bottom instead you wouldn't question why? If it was reverse draft order I should have been 1st. If it was reverse of the numbers you pulled out of your hat then I should've been 4th. Once again I'm not saying you did anything wrong but is it not fair to ask why I started towards the back of waivers instead of near the top? Until players are locked this weekend it could still be a factor. Are you saying it's not okay for me to ask what the way of determining the waiver order is?
