Re: CB4's mock draft V.2 Julian Wright's been falling, at this point, from what I've read, 'theres no way' he's going ahead of Thornton.
Re: CB4's mock draft V.2 Hmm, Washington taking Belinelli, I haven't seen that. I wonder if they would take him over Byars.

I know he's not very well rounded, but he fits well with Washington and he's got more offensive potential than Byars.

They have some good pieces, but I think getting a more NBA-ready two-guard like Byars would give them that extra umph for next season, especially if Arenas is playing at full strength.

Sources have said the Hawks are high on Law and like him more because he can make more of an immediete impact. Law has stopped working out for teams last I heard, probably because the Hawks have guaranteed him.

They are a work in progress with alot of young, developing players. And alot of mock drafts have Crittenton going at #11.

This draft could get the Hawks back in playoff contention. Horford is one of the most NBA ready players in the draft, so adding him, and Acie Law, who has proven he can take over games with his playmaking and clutch shooting, is a better choice than Crittenton IMO.
Re: CB4's mock draft V.2 We like Crittenton more than Acie Law.. sorry to burst your bubble, and Crittenton very well be the best PG to come out of this draft when its all said and done..

He canceled his workouts for some reason. I don't think Crittenton will be as good as Law. He doesn't know how to control himself at times, and can't take over games like Law can.
Re: CB4's mock draft V.2 I live in Atlanta, I hear it from coaches, and staff everyday.. How many times have you seen Crittenton play?

He lets his emotions get the best of him, and tries to do too much at times. He doesn't let mistakes be forgotten, and takes ill-advised shots too often. You don't have to watch a player to know about him. It helps, but it's not a neccessity. He seems like he's going to be a Steve Francis type player, who he is compared too. I have seen Law play though. He's very clutch, can take over games, and can shoot from anywhere on the court.
Re: CB4's mock draft V.2 We don't exactly know what they'll do but logically there's no way Atlanta should take Crittenton over Law. They need NBA-ready players. They just can't keep drafting players with potential hoping that they pan out. Crittenton probably won't have an impact for a few years but Acie can come in and play now.
Re: CB4's mock draft V.2 Yeah, I personally believe that Grunfeld will pick Derrick Byars. He's so fundamentally sound, and he's tough. Another good thing about him is that he'd be ready to contribute right away... and he wouldn't have problems learning the Princeton Offense considering they ran the Princeton Offense at Vanderbilt this past year.

He's only a freshman too, so he still has a ton of time to work on his shot.

They should take the better prospect, not the guy that is going to be NBA ready first. And even with Acie Law, they're still not making the playoffs next year. So what's the point? No man...Acie Law's playmaking is actually not that great for a PG...like I said earlier...Crittenton is more athletic, he's the better passer, he has more upside....Acie may be able to shoot the ball better, but he's played 4 years and Javaris is only a freshman...Acie's 3 ball wasn't even that good until this season.
