Wallace is too expensive for the Raptors. He's looking for around 10 mil a year for 6 years. Not only is he too expensive, that's too much to commit to a good player on a bad team. I guarantee you his numbers will fall next year after he gets his contract. For the Raptors, they should attempt to sign either Grant Hill or Luke Walton. They're both exactly what the Raptors need. In Grant Hill, they get the veteran leadership they need in the locker room, and he can still play when he's healthy. In Luke Walton, he's a young guy who has great IQ and will fit very nicely in the unselfish enviornment. He was the anchor of the Triangle Offense so he has great IQ.

Grant Hill is a great great addition to Raptors if we can get him by any chance, but I am not sure about Luke Walton, mostly becausue Raptors already have Garbajosa, who has same high level of BB IQ, and more he is a better defender, their games are too similiar.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ortiz34 @ Jun 29 2007, 07:27 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Wallace is too expensive for the Raptors. I heard we are pursuing Mikael Pietrus (excuse spelling) as well, he would make a great addition. We dont need a big SF, because we got Garbajosa, but a slasher.
