Wow... I'm ultra-conservative now if you say so...

No disrespect felt. Oh it bothers us too. There are points where it becomes real obvious posters are using the group insult as a loophole to get around the rules. We will step in on case by case basis to stop that if we see it per rules 9 and 11.

Fair, and I'm not sure even sure I need "more" or "less" moderation, I just find the loophole weird.

Ah, I see since it was a reply to CC's reply to me I thought it was intended to me, I apologize.

I find it wierd too. If it were completely up to me I might have closed the loophole long ago. As it is I work together with other mods with differentiating ideas. I enjoy the diversity of thought and respect them all. Slys reasoning makes sense to me. And sometimes you have to work across the aisle. And, like I said it is something we are continuing to work on.

Yeah I figured he was speaking about MarAzul. Your conservative but not ultra...you seem more moderate actually.

I always thought I was a republican til the last 2-3 elections. I'm not on board with a lot of the socialist ideals, and really far "left", but I do appreciate and respect the talking points and more and more understand why people would think that way. It's not for me though. I have a pretty passionate dislike for the two-party system though, I think it stinks. I'd say moderate is probably about right, maybe conservative, but not a republican lol.

Yep Calvin was thinking of me. I got it. But you see, I did not ask for more moderation. I simply responded to @ehizzy3 nastiness also directed at me, with my own nastiness acceptable to me.
I would be pleased to leave it out, if I did not sense it when aimed my way or toward any other possibility, damn few they maybe. No more moderation needed. We probably communicated. Time will tell.

    Carry on!

It's not a big fight until the thread gets locked and it spills into at least 2 other threads. Those are the rules.

BTW? What turned you around on the VA? The last we spoke of it, you didn't want anything to do with the VA. ALL in all, I find it a plus for me.

I never felt I needed the help...had insurance coverage and felt there was another vet who needed the VA more than I did and assumed they were backlogged with patients......after my heart episode I decided to register with them ...my local doctor at Oregon Medical Group was a joke....guy talked about guitar more than my health...charged 499 per hour to really never do anything but write a prescription or send me to a specialist. Now that I'm fully retired I decided to take advantage of the VA here...it's also not far from my son's house so I get to visit my granddogs whenever I go to the clinic...from day one I was impressed with the service and really impressed with my doctor there...two visits at the VA and I had everything checked out and printouts of all my numbers...would've taken a half dozen visits at the private clinic ….that 500 per visit they tend to milk..

Exactly! Especially true when you are on medicare. They learn to milk that machine for cash, and you may never get what you need. I am so happy to be out of that system and in the VA. I once was able to go to the Mayo Clinic or the UCLA med center or many other fine places, but when that was gone, I found the medicare system just bullshit. The VA works for me, but you do need to push when you need some care, the care is available, you just need to make sure you get to it, find it, demand it.
I am glad it is working for you. Good to hear.

This is worth just one more post. Tend to Milk!
Damn man you got that straight and everyone needs to understand the medicare system.

Back when I had a private practice doctor, I was able to walk in there tell him what I had and suggest what I need and was out of there. I have had one troubling condition that I have had most of my life. Occasionally I get infection in my inner ear. It stems from events 60 years ago when I had a good volume of the Taiwan Strait back flushed through the ears as a result of being too close in underwater proximity of a 155 round doing it's intended function. I made it, but the long term result was inner ear infections from what ever and I never would get over it without the aid of antibiotics. My local doc listen and heard, check me out and gave me the prescription, maybe twice. Geez, when I went to a clinic, they sent me to a specialist in another clinic. They insisted I have a hearing test, x bucks, and some other test, then the doc had me upside down on a table and I can't tell where the fuck I am at with vertigo so damn bad I had to have my wife come get me. So now I am really screwed, can't navigate.

In just a few days, I get a letter from the VA, I am accepted! Check in a Roseburg.
I need help to get there so I have to ask my wife to drive me. I tell the NP what the hell is wrong, she gives me the antibiotics and I am up and about in two days.
Only had the trouble one more time since then but, I walk into the VA and get the damn shot. No fucking way in hell are you going to get this in the medicare system. Sorry, the codes don't work, the cash don't flow.

    Hey Hobbes!
I feel I should ask, whom do you expect to respond given your position of the post in this thread?
