I think Kravtsov gets a year or almost a year in the AHL. He needs to round out his game some. I make Strome the second line center. I would like to see Kakko with 2 vets and have a line with 2 strong, physical, wingers. Quinn needs to give it a rest with Chytil at center. Howden is a much better center. That should quickly be one of the best 4th lines in the game. Though, the 3rd and 4th lines will probably switch as far as playing time derpending on which is having a better game. I better not see fn Smith on this team. He sucks.

    Buchnevich-Zibanejad-Panarin
    Kreider-Strome-Kakko
    Chytil-Howden-Namestnikov
    Lemieux-Andersson-Fast

    Skjei-Trouba
    Hajek/Lindgren-DeAngelo
    Staal-Fox

Yeah, as skilled and calm as Kravtsov already is, it looks as though he physically is not quite ready for the NHL. Play him in Hartford and maybe during season call him up if there's an injury or whatever. Get him on a strength program and put on 10 lbs. Have Shest join him and at least they can hang together

Forward lines were exactly as I posted in camp today. :)

I don't think Chytil or Kravtsov looks ready. Both should be in the AHL IMO. Andersson is now showing why he was the 7th pick in the draft. His intangibles are off the chart. I'd love to get Greenway from the Stars. I'd have no problem offering up a package of Chytil, Lindgren and Keane. I think he would be perfect here.

Yeah i don't know what's going on with Chytil, as he seems to have the physical strength going but isn't making much happen this preseason. Kravtsov just needs to get stronger and get some NA ice experience.

Roster down to 32. Would think forwards Fogarty, Haley, Lettieri, McKegg, Nieves, and O'Regan go down leaving 26 (13 forwards) and Lindgren, Morrow and Smith on defense. Figure Quinn sends Shesterkin down so that leaves 22 up. It's a damn shame that the worst dman in the NHL Marc Staal will once again be here to stink up the ice. Had to laugh at the fishsticks dressing their opening day roster against the Rangers prospect team and their clown Matt Martina taking runs at smaller guys. Talk about someone overdue for a cheap shot trip to concussion protocol, Boomer's son in law is long overdue.

I have a feeling McKegg makes it to start over Chytil, who looks like he's thinking too much with the puck right now.

Everyone is going to give me heat but I’m glad Haley is on the roster, he should be playing tonight in that role not Smith

Jittery start without much offense but a nice goal from Staal. They need to settle in between periods. Winnipeg is a tough matchup to open.
