    Dame says he's catching and shooting a lot more in these scrimmages with the playmaking SF's in Hood, Baze and Mario this year.

    Edit: Dame is really high on the veterans that have been brought in this year.

    It extends his career. At some point Dame has to be able to pick and choose when he is going to carry the load.

    Dame is saying this could be the deepest team he's been on (says his second year was pretty deep though).

    Edit: Says this year has the perfect balance of young and veterans.

    Our team actually jumped about 3 possessions per 48 and scored about 9 points more per game. But the whole league's scoring jumped up so it didn't stand out

    Nurk was more curious about the ref kicking his leg than the actual injury. Nurk said he talked to the league about it. Wasn't sure if it was on purpose or not but said there shouldn't be a reason for a ref to step over an injured person.

    Edit: Nurk taking it one day at a time--doesn't have a specific date circled for a return.

    I didn't remember that happening at the time, but what a D-Hole the ref was. Clearly should have seen the leg from his angle and didn't even look or care? Sounds like maybe it was more than accidental.

    I don't question that it was accidental on the ref's part, but come on man. It was like the Cal-ASU game on Friday night - the Cal QB was walking to the locker room with a clearly injured shoulder, and one of his teammates reached out and hit his shoulder in solidarity - QB doubled over.
