Yeah, but the context is trying to get Ukraine to do what we, the USA, wanted. As someone pointed out, diplomacy often includes ultimatums, threats, and bribes. It's legitimate if it is done in the service of the national interest. It's illegitimate if it's done in service of someone's personal interest. barfo
I’m sorry but Biden’s son being as close as he was to the situation raises questions about this ‘legitimacy’ you speak of. You can go ahead and subtract his son from the equation and claim business as usual, but it’s being willfully ignorant of the full set of circumstances.
No, I have'nt bought into Trumps & Rudy's stories and frankly, I don't watch much news but when I do I look at samplings of a few stations and since there really isn't any real new anymore being reported, just the same old stuff, I go directly to Espn or here. I saw the interview where Biden pretty much said he instructed the prosecutor be fired or he would with hold billions. That kind of shocked me but I guess it shouldn't. Trump has done the same thing in my mind. Ive always liked Joe and will vote for him possibly over the others if I re-register as a dem as Im an independent. But from what i heard with my own ears, he was out of line also. Not sure why you always have to insinuate that am just follower of Trump stories and such, must be because of my feelings about the Clintons. Out of respect I don't try and paint you a certain way as I feel you can think for your self and are entitled your own opinion as am I. We both are independents for a reason I believe (at least I think you've stated you are). For me its I don't buy hook line and sinker the propaganda Im hearing from both sides, especially now days.
Biden's son just wasn't that close to the situation. He was on the board of a Ukrainian company. Neither the Ukrainian company nor Hunter Biden was under investigation by the prosecutor in question. At least, those are the facts as we know them today. The fact that Hunter was on the board, and that the head of that company was sketchy at best, does suggest that Hunter might have some explaining to do. But there doesn't seem to be a connection to the US Government wanting to get rid of a Ukranian prosecutor who wasn't prosecuting. If there is a fact I'm missing here, please enlighten me. barfo
So having classified emails on a private server could be a crime depending who you are. There are people that have gone to jail for the same thing. Its my opinion that she has skated. Where did I say their was evidence of wrong doing, but that interview he gave was squirrelly. I watched an interview and listen. Not from Fox news or even CNN. Since when am I not able to have an opinion. As far as may comment about Cheney is was an opinion, mine. So whats your opinion of Sean Hannity? come on, I now you have one and thats ok, just like feeling they are feeling not right or wrong. He spews propaganda like many on other station do. I'll wait for your opinion... wow
Not the same thing, and not out of line. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the USA saying 'we want you to do X, or we won't do Y'. The private sector equivalent is Buyer#1 says to a major supplier: We need you to improve the materials in this part or we'll have to consider another supplier. Buyer#2 says to a major supplier: I need you to gift me a Lamborghini or we'll have to consider another supplier. #1 is business. #2 is corrupt. #1 is Biden. #2 is Trump. barfo
There are people who have gone to jail for the same thing, but there are also many more people who have not gone to jail for the same thing. Nobody said you couldn't have an opinion. Can't I have an opinion about your opinion? Hannity: disgusting human being, but not (so far as I know) a criminal. barfo
Good to get an opinion form you. right or wrong. I cant stand Hannity about as much as I cant stand Hillary, the crook.
that's called leverage to remove a corrupt official from a country rife with corruption. Let's change it around a but. Let's say we have intel that says Ukraine has info where Isis is storing some serious weapons and aren't being co0perative so the Biden, under the direction of the USA and in conjunction with several countries in the region says unless you disclose the info you aren't going to get any funding from us. That benefits the USA, not Joe Biden. On the other hand, trump tells Ukraine that he needs a favor and that favor is digging up dirt on his possible democratic opponent otherwise funds aren't going to be released. One is a bribe for personal gain and one is using leverage to out an enemy. I have no problem with the second, but the first is a serious problem.
lol...need you to improve materials? its more like id prefer to buy from my son's company so I don't give a shit about quality. Get em off their back!
It's all gonna get fun before it's over with. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/jo...ine-gas-company-exec-back-in-2014-photo-shows
It really isn't as long as you have done your homework and have solid info to pass along. Maybe that's why you have struggled to enlighten anyone.
