Trump is trying to throw Pence under the bus to cushion his fall. The Pence camp is furiously trying to thwart that. Nope, Pense is up to his neck in trouble.

 

She stayed with Bill long before she had any aspirations for the Senate let alone the Secretary of State or Presidency.

Pence has very little following and has the blood of trump on his hands as well so him being able to win the next election if trump were removed likely would be extremely difficult.
