The highlights are amazing! Every time he hit one, he’d turn and start talking smack! I will miss The Hammer!
I just have a feeling that this Doncic-KP pairing in Dallas is going to be a problem. All the talk about Lebron/AD, Kawhi/PG, Russ/Harden...it's very possible that the Dallas duo may be the most complementary pair in the league, and potentially the best by the end of this season.
I think people are forgetting that he had an ACL injury. I don't think he'll be back to his normal self (whatever that is) until later in the season.
Hollinger predicts we go 41-41 and finish 10th. I swear there are a lot on here who always respected his opinion. What do you think? https://theathletic.com/1265538/201...s-looking-up-to-the-nuggets-in-the-northwest/
I agree with you but I just don't think they have enough talent around those two this year. Seth Curry is a good fit if he knocks down 3's like last year but the rest of their complementary players aren't that good. If they put the right pieces around them it could be scary. Their only real issue with building around them is that because they owe two future 1sts they can't trade a 1st to acquire anyone. The west is so tough that I don't think they'll make the playoffs so they will have a lottery pick to help.
Yeah, I'm not particularly concerned about the team as a whole; I just think that pair will fit very, very well together.
Yeah, but it's also been a year and a half since he played basketball. This is an injury that takes time + playing the game to get over.
They're going to be great down the line, but this season is a bit optimistic. Plus, I would be having kittens about Porzingas's durability if I was the Mavs (and had invested over $150 million in him). Doncic is going to be All-NBA sooner rather than later, though.
