Barkley was 6’4 or so. I remember seeing him standing next to Terry Porter and he was barely taller than him.
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...er-than-he-was-listed-at-duke-per-report/amp/ looks like he was 6’7 in shoes at Duke and now 6’6 without.
Yeah, I don't understand why Zion being 6'6 was a big deal. They had measurements in shoes before, so if everything was accurate, everyone will lose an inch or two.
I did actually and he had some ok assists but besides some really athletic blocks I thought his defense was awful. He's lazy with getting into his stance, guards were blowing by him pretty regularly, which didn't hurt him as much in college, but in the NBA players are just flat out better I think he's gonna struggle defensively, especially if he gets switched onto a scorer. He's a good help defender though. Really about 90% of his HL's are just dunk packages though. Which there's nothing necessarily wrong with that if you can do it and no one can stop you, the question will be how does all of that translate to the NBA. He's still going to be an amazing athlete even by NBA standards.
He's probably going to have to take the Blake Griffin route of slowly adding in more moves and abilities each season until he's more well rounded and can hurt you in other ways.
The kid looks a twinkie away from turning into Raymond Felton in the last photo I saw of him....in New Orleans they fry lettuce....everything deep fried....that could be his biggest hurdle this season.
Just caught the highlights. Saw him make some nice passes and layups. Whoever says he's only a dunker isn't paying attention but the dunks were nice.
Damn 29/4/4/1 in 27 minutes 12/13 from the floor Not bad. This kid is going to have son growing pains and rough nights guaranteed, but Zion haters are no different than Trump supporters. In spite of mountains of examples and evidence you continue to stand your ground.
