After the dumb fuck voters voted in the last gas tax increase last November is when I started crafting my exit strategy from LA.
All this ghetto spots will steal your card number. I have a work credit card so I just put all my gas on there so I dont give a shit about the prices that much.
Called this last November https://californiaglobe.com/section...rizing-theft-of-voter-approved-gas-tax-money/
So, why make a huge error in the price of gas in LA and then blame the government rather than looking into it to see if it's even true?
No, they must not be edited, but they also don't represent the true price of gas in LA either as the average price was $3.61 gal in September and SPD showed current pricing.
That was before they went up 59 cents a gallon in the last three weeks: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nb...rices-highest-since-2015-562367871.html?amp=y Of course, it had more to do with events in the MiddleEast than California politics, but never let reality bother the story that is being spun.
No. According to AAA, the spike caused by the attack on Saudi oil facilities is abating nationwide, but the West Coast has higher gas prices right now because of "refinery disruptions". https://goldrushcam.com/sierrasunti...prices-rise-twenty-eight-cents-week-over-week Of course, you're correct that the reason that California gas is always higher than the rest of the nation doe relate to government policies in the state. State gas taxes are 43 percent higher than the national average. Also, requirements for special fuel blends in an attempt to minimize air pollution also adds to the cost. In addition, there aren't pipelines linking the state to petroleum or crude oil supplies, and storage capacity is limited. http://www.fuelingcalifornia.org/ne...y-drives-up-the-price-at-the-pump-study-says/ When passing through the Great Blue State, I always fill up just before the Oregon border. I can usually make it through to Arizona with only one tank of bloated-priced gas being purchased in California.
I'd rather have higher gas prices than the tolls they're planning on putting on the freeways and now local roads in Portland.
America has always had cheaper gas than most countries other than the Middle Eastern ones......I remember many many years of gas for my motorcycle in Taiwan being 3 bucks a liter....but that honda motorcycle could run for a month on a tank of gas.
