----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The LA TimesThe Los Angeles Lakers have offered a multi-year contract to 30-year-old guard Theodoros Papaloukas, according to Eleftheros Tipos, a newspaper in Greece.Papaloukas, a Greek native who is listed at 6 feet 7, was the Euroleague player of the year last season with CSKA Moscow, and is widely thought to be the best point guard in Europe. Smush Parker gone and Jordan Farmar needing time to develop, Papaloukas could become a backcourt starter for the Lakers.Link---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the guy I was talking about the Griz are looking at, people say hes the best guard not in the NBA and hes a outstanding playmaker. This would be a good pickup for the Lakers...

Im not complaining about this, I know Papaloukas is a great guard internationaly and he can possibly do quite well in the NBA but I don't know if he's going to really help the Lakers out a whole lot in years to come but it's better than having smush running the point by a long shot, if Smush Parker goes then, papaloukas is already helping.

Yeah, I heard about this. I think it would definitely benefit, with Smush on his way out, Farmar in only his second year. We could use this guy's skills and abilities.

Well, the Lakers drafted Crittenton, so, I don't think this will happen now.

I just listened to Kupchack on the radio...he said he doesn't know where this story came from, and that it was probably just made up because of where the Lakers had been scouting.

Hello! I am Sakis from Greece! I would like to give you some information about Theo Papaloukas.Theo is probably one of the best players I have ever seen in my life.He is very very intelligent in his play.He can be compared with Magic Johnson. His assists are spectacular, only Magic could do these things. You will see unbelievible things in his game.He is really tall for a playmaker, you can not still him the ball, he is very fast, very good 3 point shooter, excellent defender. His average in assists is about 7,5 per game.Definitely an amazing number.Perhaps if Lakers sign him, he will be the best in the NBA championship in his position. He has only one disadvantage. He is 30.... And so many years I was wondering.....why NBA doesn't exploit this superstar?I am not exaggerating. You will see these things next year.He will be the best player.Let's see it :happy0144: .
