QUOTE

June 28, 2007 - 6:14 pm The Trail Blazers and Knicks are having "serious discussions" about a trade that would send Zach Randolph and Martell Webster to the Knicks for Steve Francis and Channing Frye. The parties have exchanged variations on the deal but all combinations would result in Randolph heading to New York. It is unclear whether there are picks involved so this too may be a deal that can be consummated after the draft.
Realgm.comhttp://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives..._zach_randolph/
I don't know if the Blazers should do this right now, they should keep looking at the moment, see what's the best offer available.
Yeah, great idea for the Knicks, bring in an even longer big contract. The Knicks just don't get it, and their fans are equally clueless.
Amare, I'm sure he'll be a backup to Jarret Jack, that's really not that bad of a backup PG either. You also bring in Channing Frye to go along with Lamarcus Aldridge? Unreal, the Blazers are amassing an incredible team out there in Portland and they have GREG ODEN as the centerpiece. This is going to be an absolutely outstanding team in a few years, if not sooner.
